General chat!

I never had any crawfish before. I'm kinda scared to try them, too.

The spices and juicy meat are great! I'm sure if you like spicy food and or not allergic, you'll love it.

Crawfish are pretty much like overgrown shrimp.

I had some when I was in lafayette a couple of summers ago. It was very hot but pretty dang good.

did you have to shell yours yourself? 8)

Not really. But at family reunion's we give some to whoever wants some. And man! You can't have a family reunion in New Orleans without crawfish! It's the best! There's so much crawfish, it'll keep one person occupied for days! Brings back great memories...

I don't even know what crawfish is, but seeing as it sounds like a type of fish, I am likely to not like it.

Mirage, a crawfish is sort of like a small lobster. Kind of like a cross between a shrimp and a lobster, I guess.

No, I have never had one, but you make it sound really good, Typhoon...

Young Mally

Crawfish is a small lobster type shellfish like PP said. Finger lickin' good!:D

Mirage

Okay. Well, that still makes it seafood, which is inherently eww anyway.

Momiji

I hate fish, but I love shellfish. Is that unusual? D:

I never tried New Orleans style before but there was this Japanese resturaunt that had them baked in cheese and all that, it was really good.

Young Mally

The sounds good. But I bet Japanese crawfish isn't as spicy. Gotta have the spices! So hot, it clears the sinuses...

Mirage, Are you allergic to shellfish or spices?

I have no allergies that I know of, I just really dislike the taste of most seafood.

Never had crawfish before, but I did have Creole style shrimp a few times. Was quite good.

Young Mally

Hmmm. I would say the only difference would be the fact that shrimp is easier to eat. Yeah, shrimp is great to.:D

Crawfish? That just doesn't sound right

About 10 years ago I sampled a rather large crayfish when I was down in Cornwall

My husbands love the things I don't really care for them.

TyphoonThaReapa

Ok, you don't eat the entire thing! Just the meat that located in the tail. You'll have to peel the tail off and then eat up!
