Well, that's GS4, but Phoenix's kid is adopted, and you eventually find out who her mother AND father is in the last case.

Yeah, Jowy has it right. Trials and Tribulations will have five cases, where you play as Mia Fey in two of the cases.

Awesome text/rpg series. I've actually read up on the japanese version of this game and I can't wait to to get this one. I've already played the first two and am utterly in love with this franchise.
