Lights out

Well... I'm in the underground palace boss, level 20 and slowly building up my armoury before facing the boss. Whlst running around, completing my bestiary and doing sidequests I realised; I never got to see what would happen if I let the light run out in the barheim passage.

I went back in, with my brand new key, but the battery mimics dont seem to have returned :(

What would have happened, had I let them guzzle the electrics dry? The movie gave me the impression some, powerful foes would attack but I never got to seewhat they were, lurking in the shadows...

If there were stronger enemies that come out ONLY in thedark, how can I find one now i'm later in the game?

Three or Four Zombies would come out and attack you. They aren't that powerful or anything, just annoying.
