At ages that I dont make a new thread so be kind:)

What do you prefer? Live in the present or would you prefer to live in the past?
I prefer live in the present for many reasons, but live in the past for one day would be cool...or no:D
If you could live in the past what year would you like to live? If you dont like to live in the present and wouldn't like to live in the past, do you think the future would be a goold alternative?
Share your opinions!:)

I wouldn't choose to live in the past because if I went back and changed something I didn't like, I wouldn't be the same person I am now and know the people I know. Also, I'm not too fond of my past, I wouldn't want to go back and remember all of that. Although I generally live for today, I do have a few good memories that I can reminisce about.

I wouldn't mind jumping forward about a month into the future, that's for sure. But I probably wouldn't anyway just because even though I don't like being here, (at college) I love the campus and I'd want to remember it as much as I can, not just skip by it.

Being born around the 6th century BCE would be interesting.

i would want to live in the past...things were much better then. People now are more meaner, back then everyone was more nicer. I can enjoy alot of stuff with my family and re-do my mistakes.

Then i can be happy with my friends and family, playing good old games and listening to good music.

The video games back then were great Final Fantasy 1-9 the classics....Ahhh good times, good times :greenie:

Actually I think people now are more nice then in the past. There was a mess. But indeed, people of today are mean aswell

i would like to go forward, not backward.

the future is the only venue with the potential for a perfect moment.

Right now, hey
It’s your tomorrow
Right now,
C’mon, it’s everything
Right now,
Catch a magic moment, do it
Right here and now.

I prefer living in the present since I'm more suited for it.

recent past which would take place in the middle of 2005, towards the end of the year. i guess it would be useless whether i'd live it once or forever.

I'm happy with the present. My generation was nicer than this one though.... The majority of kids my age were a little more respectful and courteous. When there were other students or adults that were a little....slow, if you know what I mean, they were very kind to them and would even try to befriend them.

I have a little sister who has special needs but she's not HALF as bad as most kids like her because my family took the time to talk to her and teach her how to read and write. She's almost an adult but in her mind she's still a child, but despite that we never treated her different, we always talked to her like she was a normal human being, which she is. But, kids at school call her stupid and ugly and all sorts of cruel things. I feel really bad for her because my mom told me sometimes she'll come home crying because the kids are so mean to her.:whimper:

Eh, I think I like living in the present. I want to keep moving on, not stay stuck in stuff I've already been in and done or whatever. That gets me nowhere!
