If you could travel back in time to see any one concert of your choice who would you see and what year/tour would you go to?
I'd probably go see Led Zeppelin dominate somewhat early in their career. Small venue. Yeah.

Travel back in time? Fuck that. My concert line up for this summer is amazing:
Tegan and Sara - the con tour (summer/fall)
Marilyn Manson - eat me, drink me tour (i assume he's going to tour after this album)
Mindless Self Indulgence - revisit toronto this summer
Nelly Furtado - I hear rumors she's also revisiting toronto this summer
and, if I can scrape the cash together before the tickets are sold out (doubtful):
Justin Timberlake - FutureSex/LoveShow tour

Mayhem (Before Eurynomous was murdered)
Zeppelin '73
Jimi Hendrix when he's playing the guitar on fire
Iron Maiden '82

A bunch of bands in the early 80's and late 70's
Skinny Puppy
Bauhaus
The Cure
Joy Division
Mine would probably have to be some rave or something which I know nothing about. As I like industrial ambient techno trance stuff. Not many american rock bands I'd die to see. So taking the effort to time travel seems a waste to me. I'm going to Rock on the Range next month. Pretty decent concert in my opinion. 15 bands and I like more than half of them. Cheap and not a bad deal

Radiohead, at any point from 2000 onwards. Failing that, the Sigur Ros gig at Somerset House in London in July 2005.

Probably Pantera, especially circa 1990-1994, and especially before the BS between Phil Anselmo and Dime & Vinnie went on within the band that led to the band's demise.
Also Megadeth, circa 1986, when they had Chris Poland and the late Gar Samuelson, as well as Metallica, circa 1983 - September 26, 1986, when Cliff was still alive. Or any thrash metal concert during the 1980s, for that matter, especially the Reign In Blood-era Slayer, the Among The Living-era Anthrax (even though both line-ups are intact right now, but you know what I mean), and Testament during the late 80s.

Probably The Doors, sometime in their mid-career.
Saw Pantera in 1994, they rocked but Anselmo was a jerk (to be polite), Sepultura were on as welll.
Would have to be woodstock for me, no question.

Wait, can I go forward in time? If I can, I choose to go see Blonde Redhead play at the Opera House in Toronto.
It's on the 11th of May and only $22, but it's 19+
I would go back and re-live the Mad Capsule Markets concert from 2004. Failing that, Queen.

Hmm, probably the Panic! at the Disco/Dresden Dolls/Hush Sound concert. June 29th, 2006. I didn't get to go, as it was in NY, on my birthday, and my mom wouldn't have let me go. But if I could, I would have. :D

Hmmm, any older Dream Theater concert. But forget the past, next year I get to see The 69 Eyes for free and go backstage *waits for Zeldy to see this and pass out*.

Either Queen in their prime or The Clash in their prime.
Seeing Hendrix live would also be amazing.

Either that or Jimi Hendrix / Black Sabbath.

I'd kinda like to do Woodstock '69. Just to feeel the feel. I would've quite liked Band Aid '85, too. These two really big musical glitches in time.
All my energies are currently directed at finding Dylan in my vicinity though

Yeah Zepplin would be a grand choice.
However, I'm pissed that I missed the Taste of Chaos tour in Toronto 2 or 3 weeks ago. I would have really liked to have gone to that.
But, Billy Talent & AoF coming up soon! =D

It would probably be Live Eight.
Nah, scratch that. I'd be on the rooftop with The Beatles. :D

The Beatles, of course. Right after December of 1965.
