I just beat MGS3 Snake Eater 4 days ago and I feel grweat. The last battle was intense and it kept intense especially in the last 3 minutes when the song started to come on it just made everything more dramatic. I was also very impressed by the ending. I was so unexpecting and very much like a movei. Now that makes me mad this game is a lot deeper than a lot of these movies out here, but it's not a movie itself so hardly anyone will know the great story. I heard from someone that i had to play the other MGS games before I could understant this one, but they're crazy! I enjoyed the story and it turns out that the game is actually a prequel. I was so surprised about Eva and the Boss, it's a shame if only it was a movie.

Well they are making an MGS movie so who knows?
But congratulations! :D
I love this game and feel it has the strongest story in the series. The only reason why people say you should play the others first is because Big Boss was a villain in the first games and MGS3 is the game that supposedly tells why he turned against his country. It also lays the foundation for the a few organizations and plot devices used in MGS2.

Good work!
My only dislike for this game would be the lack of soliton (or something) radar, but i guess they werent invented then. But still...
I found the fight with the Sorrow to be really fun but the way win made very little sense

well done.
This has to be the best one i've played. (in fact it ranks in my top 2 fav games).
now enjoy the best part, THE PATRAOT, infint ammo.
Or you can try europen extreem (if you have the Pal or subsistance)
or try to not raise the alarm and get the stelth camo

Congrats :choc:
IMO, MGS 1 is the best in the series, you should check it out.
Anyway, good luck getting all the extra's! I needed about 4 playthroughs to get pretty much every camo, facepaint and goodies except for the silly monkey stuff.

MGS 3 has fantastic replay value, too - not just the extra camo, weapons and gadgets, but all the plot-related secrets too.
The overall story definitely makes more sense if you've played MGS1 and 2, though. 1 especially. The original MGS still has, in my opinion, the best mix of stealth, action and unique challenges, and the greatest characters. Unlike MGS 2 and 3, every major villain in the game has a big role in the plot rather than just being snake fodder, so to speak.

I love it. I'll probably have to download and watch the cutscenes for MGS 4. :P

When you can beat Splinter Cell: Double Agent, like me...then you will have something to brag about. MG doesn't even compare to it.

There is another way to get the stealth! Shoot all of the kerotan frogs then u will get the rank of kerotan at the end then u will get the stealth camo

About those kerotans... No matter how many times and how strictly I follow walkthroughs I seem to miss 10 kerotan frogs. Played the game through 16 times already. =P

Some of those frogs are in stupidly hard-to-get locations, such as during the motorcycle chase. Getting through the game with no alerts is by far the easier means of getting stealth camo...

Well I do that next. I do hit all the motorcycle part kerotans.
Do you need to shoot some of them twice?
I got all the Kerotans on my first playthrough. The ones on the motorbike were definitely the most annoying.
