My favorite game artist is Yuzo Kushiro. He composed the score for Streets of Rage 1-3. My favorite song of his is "Never return alive". Is there any other good artist I should know about? Because I want to buy more video game soundtracks.

I'm sure you've heard of Nobuo Uematsu :p Motoi Sakuraba is one of my favourites too, having done stuff in Star Ocean games and most of the Tales of series, as well as others :p I suppose Kajiura Yuki could count as a good one too having done Xenosaga 2 (maybe others, can't remember off the top of my head), although she's done more anime soundtracks than game stuff :p

Yes, I have heard of Nobuo Uematsu, I like that composers music a lot. The others, I have never heard of before. I will have to sample their music. Thank you for replying to my thread and giving me your suggestions. :tongue:
Oh, and I really like Masato Nakamura, who composed the soundtrack for Sonic the Hedgehog.:choc2:

Maybe try Jack Wall (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Wall_%28composer%29), Robyn Miller (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robyn_Miller) and Tim Larkin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Larkin) who have composed some incredibly fine soundtracks for the Myst series. There's also Jeremy Soule (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Soule), who isn't too bad.

Perhaps you could also check out the composer for Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross (Cross being one of the many that has inspired a lot of my work); Yasunori Mitsuda (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yasunori_Mitsuda).

You could also check out OCRemix (http://www.ocremix.org), as there's a lot of people who have done some pretty cool stuff.

Also try Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono series), Koji Kondo (Zelda, Mario, and other Nintendo franchises), Hiroki Kikuta (earlier Seiken Densetsu/Mana games), Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts series, Super Mario RPG, Legend of Mana), and Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy Tactics and other Ivalice Alliance games).
