Which? Well, I got a new watch today and I have always worn it on my right hand. But everyone says you're supposed to wear it on the one that isn't dominant. But I do it anyways.

I don't wear watches. They're uncomfortable and weird to wear for some reason.

I rarely wear watches, though If I do its on my right arm. I just naturally put everything on my right arm, anything tickles me when Its on my left.

Right wrist, but am right handed.

You're traditionally supposed to wear it on the opposite hand, but I do everything with my left hand except write.

I prefer to wear mine on my right wrist, but I usually end up with watches designed for left wrists, so the results can be quite painful.
I rarely wear a watch, anyway, because I find they weigh me down too much.

I feel naked whenever I'm not wearing my watch, which I'm always wearing on my left wrist - because I'm boring like that.

Well, before I got my cell phone, I used to wear my watch on my left wrist. (Who wears watches on their hands? (in reply to the topic question)) But for some reason, I wear my wristbands and stuff on my right wrist.

Wow, your arms actually weigh the same amount?!

Meh, my left arm is noticably larger than my right(though I am right handed), and while I at first always worn it on my right arm I now wear them on my left.

I originally wore it on my right arm due to the fact that my right arm is smaller and is generally the arm I have free. However, I began to wear it on my left arm after I started dog training. I have always had a hard time telling left from right. And I kept turning the wrong way in class. However, something I noted was that the command you generally give your dog when you turn left is 'watch' or 'watch me'. So guess why I put my watch on my left arm? :p. Now I no longer have issues telling right from left(whichever arm has the feeling of a watch on it is my left arm...); at least as long as I have a watch(at the moment, I do not have one).

Only ever wear my watch on my left wrist, before I had a new one I used to wear a big leather cuff there but that got relegated to the right wrist when I wear it. I'm left handed and to be honest would feel strange going to the right wrist for the time.

They're quicker to check, because you don't need to get it from your pocket/purse/wherever it is. Also, they don't run out of batteries as often.

Anyway, I wear mine on my left wrist. That way, I can check the time without stopping whatever I do with my right hand, such as writing or eating

Left! Wearing it on the right is just... wrong... just like being left-handed is just... wrong :twak:

I have worn a watch pretty constantly for most of my life, and always on the left wrist. I actually think my left wrist is smaller around in circumference than the right for that reason xD

the idea is probably that you're usually doing stuff with your dominant hand and you don't want to have to interrupt it to look at your watch. I dunno. If people carried pocket watches they'd probably put them in the pocket next to their dominant hand so it'd be easy to reach!

(btw you'd have a harder time changing the set time if you had to use your weak hand)

Remember that kid in kindergarten that always used to come to school with his or her shoes on that wrong foot? Well wearing a watch on the dominant hand is about the same thing, except your brain is fully developed and people will call you out on it. Except maybe your brain isn't fully developed. Either way I'm laughing.

My left hand. Since I'm right handed. If there was a watch on my right wrist while I'm writing, it bothers me so much. I usually don't wear anything on my right wrist because of that.
