Favourite Final Boss Theme

I think FFVIII's 'The Extreme' is a bit underappreciated... I love it! That seriousness, anxiety and mystery... Gives me the chills every time I hear it...

So what are your favourites?

The Extreme, I especially like thet part that sounds like the begining of Liberi Fatali, very nice effect. And the build up to it always feels so suspenseful

the last battle...I completely loved the fight with Necron and that music was pretty much why ^^

even though I despised the game Demise from X-2 was actually pretty good.

Can't really decide. The DS version of 'This is the Last Battle' (as FF III's Final Boss track is called, at least in the oirginal OST) is very great, if not one of my favorites.
The original version of 'This is the Last Battle' is a great track as well, but I think not many people have heard it. A real shame, for its a great track (and the first Final Boss music in the series), especially when one considers that its on the NES.

I love 'The Last Battle' from FF IX as well.

The Extreme, The Final Battle (FF X's Final Battle) and Dancing mad are excellent choices are great runner ups...

Nah, I'll go with "This is the Last Battle (DS)". Simply because the entire battle with CoD in FF III DS screamed "EPIC!!!" at me.

'The Last Battle' is my second choice and all the others come after it.

I had to choose Dancing mad. It was calling me. Such a freaky battle theme. I also like Zeromus and FFIII's final battle theme. After that is The Extreme, and FFIX's final battle theme. I also like Bizzaro Sephiroth, but that's not a final battle theme.

Well I was very close to voting for the extreme because it's such an awesome track. However, for the sheer battle feeling while playing 'Final Battle' from FFV was my choice. But that's assuming you're counting the neo-exdeath music with it as technically THAT'S the last boss, whereas 'Final Battle' is only the first part of the battle with 'tree' ex-death, which is nowhere near as good.

It was a tough choice, but I chose the insane Decisive Battle. Second to that comes The Extreme, FFIX's Final Battle, then Demise. I haven't beaten FFXII yet ^-^;;
