It's not made my Squenix. I'd probably give it a 7 out of ten. It's good, but nothing spectacular.

8/10 since the battle system actually requires skill, unlike other rpg's. It's a mini DDR, sort-of.

As for the story, probably 6/10, in my opinion, there were tons of yawning moments, and it simply was too stretched out and could've ended in 2-3 discs instead of 4.

Yeah, I totally loved it. 8 - 9/10. My last disk was scratched, so I still have a save waiting to beat it. But I think I lost all my games in the divorce! ><

"That was a hot fight!"

Lines like this made the game an instant classic. 14/10

Legend of Dragoon was made by Sony, not Square-Enix. As for the rating, I would give it a 8/10. I think it's one of the most underrated RPG on the Playstation beside Dragon Warrior VII...

So it was made by Sony, right? Not Square-Enix? Thanks for clearing that up!

It was a decent game that I never beat, one of the many of that catagory too! I'd give it about a 6-7/10 because the battle system, while unique and interesting, was insanely frustrating at times. Plus, the story was eehh at times. Some of the characters could also have used a booster. Old Man Fist was awesome though.

Battle System you will either love or hate.

That will decide mostly whether you like the game(at least for me it does)
A little different from our usual FF, and change is good.

8/10

I absolutely adored the music <3

I think I might be one of the very little who found some of the tracks memorable -_-;;;

And Virage are like... my favorite Boss Fights.

MADNESS HERO!!!

GUST OF WIND DANCE!!!

SHUCK! (the crappy bow and arrow attack . . . somebody suck out my eyeballs, I'm begging you)

I like the Legaia system a little better. Mash them together and you'd have timed button presses on both the XO and the D-Pad in order to pull off normal, artful, super, or hyper stylized attacks. I'm getting the shakes waiting for this shyt.
I concur?

I used to like it a whole lot but I beat all 4 discs within a week and I was expecting something harder.

6/10 now

10/10 back then.

Really the additions were easy. With the acception of Gust of Wind Dance, Which even after a short period was easy. It was still quite enjoyable however. Some awesome Characters, Like Haschel, Kongol, Albert and Lavitz. 7/10.

Ouch!

I just sold my copy, actually. Apparently EB Games doesn't take PSX games anymore (yes, I know EB rips people off, I just didn't feel like going through all the trouble of selling it elsewhere). One of the employees wanted it though, so we left the store and I sold it to her.

It was okay, I guess. I never had the drive to finish it. I got all the way to the end (I think I had one other place to go). That was about three years ago. I haven't played it since.

It was a good game, not Game of the Year material, but good.

It really was an RPG gamer's RPG. Many of my friends who wanted to get into RPGs borrowed it and couldn't get past the first boss...

I would give it a solid 8/10. On the one hand, it loses marks for a terrible translation. On the other hand, it gains marks because it's almost as good as CATS sometimes.

I love Legend of Dragoon, but the translation was kinda....bad. ><

I used to like it a whole lot but I beat all 4 discs within a week and I was expecting something harder.

The main problem game magazines have pointed out is how long and drawn out the story is. Most of the time while you're traveling, you don't hear very much about it. It's just one excuse after another to send you to different places.

Difficulty was never a real issue. Unless you couldn't manage to hit X or O in time during battle.
