Frito-Lay : Doritos® Rollitos™ Tortilla Snacks (http://www.fritolay.com/fl/flstore/cgi-bin/ProdSubEV_Cat_302_SubCat_352964_NavRoot_361689.htm)

I went to a 'Yuk Yuk's' (comedy joint) the other day with friends and one of the comics pointed out that you americans have this product.

Supposedly it makes eating Doritos 'easier', as if there was anything more easier than eating a nacho chip....

Anyway, 1) do you like this 2) do you have problems eating Doritos and if you said yes to 2), 3) wtf is wrong with you?

lol....seriously though, what's with the difference between american and canadian snacks? Our rockets are your smarties. We have a candy called smarties that is like your m&ms.

Here are some pics:

Actually what do you guys call smarties? It's a Nestle product so you must have an american version.

As for a bonus, we have something called 'sour cream and bacon' chips.

I hear that Americans don't have this

Nestle Smarties are disgusting and they're near impossible to find here. :aimwink:

nestle smarties, while disgusting, are nowhere near as bad as m&ms....sick!

also, PG, they did introduce rolitos here in canada for a limited time to see if people would buy them, no one seemed to like them....i bought them and they taste a bit different, but only because the flavour is packed into a smaller area. i thoroughly enjoyed them.

any chips with sour cream are win....sour cream n bacon are super....did you ever have 'the works' chips??? the idea was a fully loaded baked potato, cheese, sour cream, bacon....onion too omg they were so good!

M&Ms are delicious, you weirdo! Just get the almond ones or the peanut ones and you're set! Kissables kick the ass out of M&Ms though, by a long run.

So USAians understand smarties to both mean rockets (candies that are wrapped in a roll) and Nestle smarties (m&m knockoffs)?

I am confused.

Rollitos? I have never even seen them in the store. I think that guy is making stuff up. He created all those pictures on the net just so that he wouldn't look stupid. What a great conspiracy he has going.

We understand smarties to be what you call 'rockets'. I have never even seen nestle smarties.

I've only spotted Nestle Smarties once in my life in the International Foods section of the grocery store. We picked up Jaffa Cakes too, which are vastly overrated. As for Rollitos, those were purchased and consumed sometime in late 2004 and have not been seen since.

I've never seen Rollitos before. Must've been one of those limited trial release things.

The ones I like to eat come in cylinder form packaging.

I always thought that Smarties were just the poor man’s M&Ms.

snacky goodness?
Smarties are very nice, much like Maltesers and Minstrels. I love throwing them in the air and catching them in my mouth :excited:

The Japanese have a bigger problem with Doritos. A painful one I'm told ;)

It doesn't get better than Swiss Cake Rolls.

M&Ms are only good without the random things put in the middle of them.

Once, a friend of mine bought a bag of Doritos only to open it and find no chips but a giant orange chunk.

Ruffles' Sour Cream and Bacon chips are godly, especially with red cream soda (yes, this is the only time I do not say pop). The thing is I have a hard time finding those chips here in Montreal, I can find them easily in New Brunswick though.

Also Rockets <3. At Halloween we'd pretend they were pills...

Fritos, Doritos, Cheetos, and Rollitos? Okay then.

Obviously, the best snack is dried fruit. Yay for prunes. :P
