It's been 2 months, time enough to finish the game. Have you ? And if not, why not ?

Have been busy with school and other things so I havenīt had that much time to play so I havenīt finnished it yet. But when I play I am taking out marks and doing other side questes so there isnīt nearly any time for me to finish the storyline.

I haven't finished it yet cuz actually i have other things to do too.
But, if i were a robot and there'd be no school (and no parents) i would play it 24/7. Oh, and also if i could stop the time irl.
But yeah, i'm not keeping any hurry finishing it.

EDIT // Oh damn. I don't even know the difference between PAL and the other one *shamed* So I don't know am i even able to answer for this *shamed* //

I bought the game in the week before my Easter holiday started and managed to do everything major except kill Omega during those three weeks. Came back to University, not been able to play it since.

Got my ass handed to me on a silver platter the first time, so then I went off and did some stuff and trained. That was a long time ago :(

Hmph. I've been leveling my characters, and I'm currently at the Pharos-Third ascent, and confused from then on. I done some of the elite/I-V marks and still got a lot to do. I'm just taking my time, and I hardly even have time to play it, but done four hours of hardcore gaming last night. Rock on!

I finished it a few times, one time only getting like 3 marks and feeling crappy about it and restarting.
It's really an easy game, like Jade Empire easy.

I wouldn't exactly give it the term as easy, but more on the note of tiring and frustrating. That's how it's been for me so far, and it ain't nice!

I'm up to fighting Dr Cid in the Pharos Lighthouse Third Ascent, but I'm so busy with school and other stuff that I hardly have enough time to play it.

I finished it a while ago, doing the bare minimum to get through the story. I don't think I'll return to complete it in the near future though.

Yeah I finished it within two weeks of getting it (would have been 1 week but I started a new job at the time). Of course, I haven't done every hunt, but I'm not really interested in doing them.

I took 2 months to finish because I stopped at the Pharos with "XII burnout". After 3 weeks I went back and finished and haven't played much since, except for doing some game ripping.

This happens to me at every game though, I get a bit tired of it near the end. Even my favorite, FFX, I took a "sabbatical" of 3-4 weeks before finishing it.

I was curious to know if everyone did the same.

PS: Pal is the European version, finola

In US yes, in Europe (the PAL version) it's only been out since the end of February,

No, partly because I've been far too busy with school etc, partly because I'm stuck on the main story and partly because I'm trying to take it slow and do all of the sidequests. What I'm stuck on at the moment is getting past the first floor in the Stillshrine of Miriam. I'm pretty sure I'm missing something really obvious, but I just can't work it out. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

I took ages with the Stilshrine of Miriam, until I finally figured out you have to equip the Dawn Shard before touching the pedestal.

Also, another reason I haven't finished it is that I can't beat Famfrit.

I wasn't as far as that, Renmiri. It turned out I was missing the Dawn Shard too :eep:. Thanks for the help, Acula.

Downloading? Bit sad that, may as well buy it, downloading a game like that is a bit naughty :/

I certainly wouldn't download it, that's just cheap, especially if it's the newest FF out on the block. Seriously? At least do it for the original FF's, but not this one...

Haven't finished it yet, I got to the snowy area (can't remember it's name), got bored and stopped playing. I'll pick it back up eventually...

If I can't buy FF12 what should I do? I don't even have PS2...

EDIT: And I really want to play it...

If you don't have a PS2, then fair enough. Download it. The game's got it's ups and downs, mainly downs.

Erm, he'll only find that out for himself thanks when he plays it.
