Alright kiddos, I really hope you're still good for something around these parts. Do you like Japan? Of course you do. Have you been to Japan? What'd you do? Have you not been to Japan? What interests you about it? What crazy CAH-RAZY conceptions do you have about that place. Let's hear, eh?

More specifically, if you were in Tokyo for 2.5 months, what would you do?
Would you go sightseeing? Would you buy stuff? Would you meet people? Would you spend all your money playing pachinko? Would you tower above the crowd (har, har).

Basically: You + Land of Rising Sun = ???

Baa.

I enjoyed my time over there. I had the fortune of living with a Japanese family for 6 months and LOVED it!
The family there took me all over, and I got to see several festivals, drank in Japanese clubs(They love their karaoke) and ate at a lot of resturants.
Best time of my life!

I do want to go to Japan because I really need to practice my Japanese... I've been taking Japanese classes for the past few years and while I think I have a good foundation in it, I've hit a glass ceiling and really I think I need to head over to Japan and immerse myself in the culture if I want to perfect my Nihongo =P

Do you like Japan?

Yeah.

Have you been to Japan?

Yeah, years ago though. My dad went for an auction that was on there & brought me & my younger brother too.

What'd you do?

Went to some boring auction, and didn't see much else.

Have you not been to Japan?

No.

What interests you about it?

It's high tech gadgetry. :excited:

Would you buy stuff?

Definitely.

I went to Japan for 11 days over Easter last month. Went to 3 cities and just had fun and experienced the culture (it was a school trip). Most interesting thing was how different it was, how ordered.

Himeji (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Himeji_Castle), Matsumoto (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matsumoto_Castle), Kumamoto (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kumamoto_Castle). If I had the time and money: World Heritage Sites (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_World_Heritage_Sites_in_Asia_and_Australasia#Japan) in Japan.

I would go see any and everything I can see that my wallet can provide and if I have enough time to do so. I would also do my best to track down and shake hands with Masaki Sumitani (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_Gay).

If I were confined to Tokyo specifically, I would go see the sites I could see, buy some things, and meet the people.

I lived in Okinawa, Japan when I was little for about ... four/five-ish years. Pretty much I did whatever you would do when you live somewhere. I just ... lived. xD I do remember going to Okinawan festivals. That was really fun. I never wanted to leave those festivals. xD

I have relatives in Japan. I would love to live there, and yes I like Japan in general.

I would love to collect beautiful Japanese kimonos.
