Disgaea: DVD

Does anybody know when this will be in america or if it is even going to become a show because I like the games and would like to see how the show turns out.

The first two DVDs are already out in America. Not sure when the 3rd and final one is out, it might already be out.

I personally didn't like the anime and wouldn't buy it.

Do they usually advertise anime DVDs on TV? I don't have any anime channels, so I don't know.

As far as I know, 'The Anime Channel' is mostly (if not all) ADV's Anime, and the Funimation Channel is Funimation. Disgaea is a Geneon property, so if DVDs are advertised on either of those previous channels, it'll be for their own stuff.

I've never ever ever seen non-mainstream Anime DVDs advertised on TV.

That explains it. Geneon has some bad ass stuff, though. Samurai Champloo, Neon Genisis Evangelion etc.

The Disgaea anime's actually not bad. It's not as good as the game, and I think I prefer the manga more, but it's still well done (especially the Red Moon episode, that was quite brilliant). I'll be getting it myself, although that goes without saying given that I'm a Disgaea nut/NIS fanboy.

If fye is a place where you could normally get anime DVDs, I'm sure you'll find it there.
