This is a thread where we can all pay tribute to the greatest player to ever grace the game of football, Paulo César Wanchope.

He was ok. Not great, not consistant enough to ever be considered 'great'. As I follow Argentine football, I seen him recently at Rosario Central, he never really hit it off there either & buggered off to Japan.

As I follow Argentine football, I seen him recently at Rosario Central, he never really hit it off there either & buggered off to Japan.Argentine football is great. Sometimes I catch it in the early hours on channel 5. Almost everybody has long hair, the kits are dodgy, and plenty of guys dribbling round 3-4 players, then putting the ball hilariously wide. This is football at its purest, if you ask me. Cracking stuff. Go Banfield!

Banfield are meh. Estudiantes are the team to follow there! Mariano Pavone & Jose Sosa would do well in Europe (I think Sosa has been already bought by Bayern actually).
