However, the forums have since been decommissioned and taken from the internet due to ownership problems relating mostly to money. Although one specific owner was the target of a child pornography sting.

2) What are your reasons for wanting to join the EoFF Forums Staff? I am awesome, they are awesome. Two awesome make a double awesome. Also I feel that I could usher in the golden days once more.

3) If you were asked to participate in a Staff Orgy, how far would you be willing to go? I’d be naked, lubed, and on top of Psychotic before the words left the mouth of whoever was initiating this orgy.

Long Answer

1) Imagine the users of LOCP decided to invade the forum, registering many accounts and spamming it up. What would your actions be in this situation? Ban them all and let God sort them out. Also I might put together a raiding party of my own. Alternatively, I would become an amazing member over at whatever LOCP is and befriend several staff members. Once they trust me, I would climb the leadership ladder to become an Administrator or their equivalent. Then I would ban them all and let God sort them out.

2) Describe the perfect way to catch Raistlin slipping up so he can be banned. Raistlin is infallible and never makes mistakes.

3) Detail what you would do to promote the forum in other venues. I would shave my hair and all the hair on my body. Then I would get “EYESONFF.COM” tattooed on my forehead, a moogle on my back holding a sign that says “EYESONFF DOT COM”, and finally, I would pass out flyers.

4) Detail what you would to heighten the enjoyment of the forum for existing members. Regular and rather meaningless competitions. I would also run a fake staff application every three months. Perhaps make a Hall of Lame for our more.. unique members.

5) Tell why or why not you would be willing to work with the Front Site Staff in bettering the Front Site ( eyesonff.com ). I do not have any coding experience so I think my hands are better left to running forums instead of breaking things on the front site.

The experience, in a sense. I enjoy being a type of mediator and leader. Also, I would want to do something for the site.

One forum I made myself (chocoboloversclub - Index (http://chocoboloversclub.jconserv.net/index.php)) but noone goes there so its just gets spam now, and also another site in which I have seemed to lost the link to, mainly because the two admins left the site, so every member abandoned it (thus making the link pointless to me). If you don't believe me on the second one you could PM Boys From the Dwarf, he was a frequent vistor of the site (Name= Chocobo Secret Garden)

2) What are your reasons for wanting to join the EoFF Forums Staff? I really love the site, and I'd love to help, I'm no good at making webpages (so I'd be no use to the frontsite), but patrolling forums, thats something I can do.

3) If you were asked to participate in a Staff Orgy, how far would you be willing to go? Why do I get the feeling this is some kind of crazy trick question that wants to see if I'd kiss up to the mods? Well, I guess it would really depend who's in the orgy, and if no one good was there it would depend if I was sober.

My first action would be to try and solve the situation by getting an admin (because I don't believe Mods can ban) to quickly banning the users (banning IPs as well if necessary) and deleting their posts. If their where too many to do that efficiently or they had continued by making accounts from different IPs, I would consort with the staff if we should shut down the forums, temporarily, fix the problem (hurry for shiny pink titles), and reopen the forum, good as new.

2) Describe the perfect way to catch Raistlin slipping up so he can be banned.
(Are you asking how evil I could be?) Raistlin is a sneaky member, always making posts that are on the edge, never over it, just watching would not be enough. I'd most likely have to set up traps for him, try and make him get into stupid arguments, and make him look like a downright bad user and well, throw him a shiny pink title. Now of course this should never be done by the staff as it would be wrong to "set up" a ban.

3) Detail what you would do to promote the forum in other venues.

Eyes on Final Fantasy is a very popular site already, so to promote the forum, I guess I'd just throw it in my signatures at other sites and hope someone clicks on it, as well as refering friends looking for forum sites here, I would never spam people to come though, as I find that wrong.

4) Detail what you would to heighten the enjoyment of the forum for existing members.
There is a couple things I would try and do as a Mod, one of the most important is acting similar to as I do now. The last thing existing members would want is some kid to become a mod and become all snobby about it, I would continue posting, and coexisting with members as one of them, not some kind of stupid superior. Next, I make good mod material in general because I am on the site a lot and I have a good understanding of the rules, its very likely if someone was breaking a rule that I would catch it because I'm on enough to see it, and I know the rules well enough the recognize the offense.

I would be willing to work the members of the Front Site, but it is a good possiblity I would not be of much use because I have little knowledge on how to make websites (although next year I am taking a graphic class which says it teaches web design). With that said I would try my best to complete any task given to me within my ability.

Technically nothing makes me more special then the other members, I really want to become a mod to do my part in helping EoFF. I have reasons I think I would make a good mod, sure. I'm on the site a lot, I know the rules, I'm willing to enforce, but I'd like to be as fair as possible, and hell, for some reason, I think I'd be damn good at it. Other then that I can't tell you guys any more then I'm incredibly willing to do my best, and I think that would make a big difference for EoFF.

I go on this forum regularly so I'd be able to donate my time as a Staff member of EoFF. Also I noticed that EoFF seems to be dying lately and I want to help change that as much as possible.

Not far at all. I'm not that dirty of a person.

I'd ban only the ones I know for sure are second accounts and if it'd be possible I'd somehow disable those people from accessing EoFF.

Use every post he makes that goes against the EoFF rules (which is practically all of his posts) against him until it's enough for him to get a final warning. Afterwards he can become banned as soon as he makes another post (assuming it goes against the EoFF rules).

I'd recommend the EoFF Site and Forum to offline friends who are FF Fans. (I know quite a few)

I'd make more Backwards Threads and other fun thread ideas.

I have no idea who LOCP is, but the first action I'd take would be to identify those responsible, and then to lock all threads that are started by them and (if I had that power) to delete the entire thread, and get Admins to start dishing out the pink titles.

Describe the perfect way to catch Raistlin slipping up so he can get banned.</b> The problem with Raistlin is that he's constantly testing how much he can get away with, and that he's not stupid, so he's not going to account suicide, either. Not to mention he's level-headed in debates, so getting him angry enough to post inappropriately is nearly impossible. Therefore, the best way other than bugging his computer so I could see everything he does on EoFF would be to constantly check every post he makes, and see what rules he's broken.

Detail what you would do to promote the forum in other venues.</b> I'm already a member a few boards, and I'm sure there are a few Final Fantasy nuts who remember the NES/SNES era of Final Fantasy who would be more than happy to join. The only problem that I could see is possibly getting banned for site advertisement, and attracting too many stupid people on NSider (trust me, if you've been there, you'll know what I mean).

Also, I could try occasionally doing something odd (such as speaking for an entire day exclusively in the second-person perspective), and to create threads on interesting subjects.

I may not have the outgoing charisma of people like Roto or all of the interesting thread subjects, but I'm willing to listen to nearly any problem that one might have, and I'll always try to offer a helpful point of view on something, even if it conflicts with what others might say. My intelligence can be also described as wonderful.

First of all I want to make it clear that I only saw Robocop once so I may not be the best at answering this question. If these people were filling the forum with spam I would grab my biggest fork then a couple gallons of hot sauce. Then I would eat all the spam. Then I would ask if they had more. If not I would banish them.

Disable registration and start banning new members that happen to be using an excessive amount of spam. Send e-mails to those banned members to let them know the current situation and after review of what has happened decide if they would get unbanned. If they just happened to join at the wrong time and though this was how the forum normally worked then I can see giving them a second shot.

Then go over the LOCP and read threads about the raid to see if I can better pin point who is using what name. Maybe talk to their admins about IP address as well unless those crumb bums were involved with this awesome attack.

The SL's were deleted a while ago, and I currently don't have links to HoH, though the site is still up. Truthfully, these were all mostly petty forums with a few active members, but I think I did a good job.

Long Answer

1) Imagine the users of LOCP decided to invade the forum, registering many accounts and spamming it up. What would your actions be in this situation?
First, I would assure the spam posts are cleaned up or deleted. Then, I would begin to issue severe warnings to the spammers, if the actual spamming is not too severe. If they would continue to do so, I would ban them. After awhile of people registering and spamming, I would begin to instantly ban those who spam continuously in an effort to prevent anymore people from signing up, thus demotivating them. Also, I would issue a notice to the headmaster/admin of the site to keep his/her community in order.

2) Describe the perfect way to catch Raistlin slipping up so he can be banned.
Instead of getting him forum banned, I have a better idea. I shall fly down to his trailer park in Florida and wait outside at night. Once he leaves for bingo night, I shall make a very brave and daring entrance using a key found under the welcome mat. Then, I shall locate his computation device and insert my flash drive containing provocative pictures of Rye and upload them. Finally, I will telephone the local police alerting them of the presence of a 100 year old man living in a trailer park who has child pornography on his computer. Wesley arrives home from another disappointing night of bingo to find five middle aged men in uniform waiting for him at the door. His computer is taken away, and his internet privileges demolished. No computer = no internet = no Raistlin.

3) Detail what you would do to promote the forum in other venues.
If I would happen to come across a community who appear to be gamers, or enjoy the Final Fantasy franchise, I would be sure to recommend EoFF for topical discussion, or just general discussion of gaming. I also would be sure to link to the forum in my signature and profile on other forums, as well as start threads on it.

4) Detail what you would to heighten the enjoyment of the forum for existing members.
I'd try to be a lenient, fair mod who doesn't pass judgment on certain members. A more liberal staff create a better atmosphere, as members are not so afraid of messing up, and thus they generally have a better time. Granted, there is a limit on this, and I'll try to keep within that limit.

Besides that, I would try to bring about more interactive experiences with members, such as more competitions, elections, etc. Although there has been improvement in this area recently, I still feel there is more that can be done to accommodate newer members as well.

5) Tell why or why not you would be willing to work with the Front Site Staff in bettering the Front Site ( eyesonff.com ).
I would certainly be willing to work with the Front Staff. Though I'm not too sure how helpful I could be, I think maintaining the front page is a key element to the site's success, as many come simply for the news and game information. I know this because that was the original reason I came here, and that eventually led me to the forums. I find writing to be one of my specialties, so perhaps I could type up information for the front or organize it into cohesive parts.

I'm covered in goo. That, and I'm not your typical 16 year old. Most kids my age aren't concerned with half of the things I am. I write, philosophize, question our ultimate existence, and analyze things people take for granted. Yet I am also a fun, nice, easy-going person who simply wants things to be peaceful. I think the fact that I can balance these two aspects out in my life gives me a certain distinction that is uncommon for my age, and hopefully an advantage in my life.
