Quicksave option

Do you guys think they added the quicksave option to:
A. Encourage new people to play
B. For the post game stuff
C. The creators really thought they needed more save options
D. Just for the hell of it

I think its B, because i know i couldnt have done the Soul Shrine without that option

You mean in FF VI Advance? Because people play handhelds on the go and they often need to save quickly and turn it off. Every self-respecting handheld game has a quick save feature or short distances between save points.

Yup yup. The quicksave feature is there because they're on a plane, bus, etc... and need to be able to save immediately and quit when playing a handheld.
