YouTube - Final Fantasy VII One Winged Angel (Eminence Symphony) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yn71hIsm0U8&mode=related&search=)

This is sooo awesome. But one question strikes me:

What language is this song in???

I think we need to start teach school choruses the one winged angel.

It's good, but it's not that good.

Well they can sing pop song all the time. We need something of higher status.

Maybe but that's going a bit far. I mean, i'm betting that over half of the kids there won't have heard of final fantasy, and even less will have played vii.

i really don't think a song from a video game would be considered higher status...as good as it may be

and...that performance sounded pretty bad in my opinion >.<

It is of higher status than pop music, deffinitely. But still, IMO there's very little choral parts here, considering how long the track is. Teaching "liberi Fatali" in schools would make more sense.

'The Promised Land' from Advent Children is a great four-part Latin choral work, but it's much more somber than 'One-Winged Angel'.
There are good arrangements available online, too.

I found this while watching the link you posted above. I personally thought that Orchestra did a great job of playing One Winged Angel. But this below is amazing!

Its actually Nobuo Uematsu's Orchestra, the Black Mages playing a rockier version of OWA.

Hope you like!
