To me the most pointless information that the game gives you is in FF7. In the manual, under each character, they give you there blood type. That is interesting, but completely useless, unless you were planning on donating blood to Cloud, but we're afraid of TRALI or some other form of blood rejection. What do you think is the most useless information an FF gives you?

In Japan, it is commonly believed that blood type reveals things about a person's personality. It might seem stupid to you, but not in Japan where the game was made and targeted to.

I suppose it's no more silly than astrology.

Thank-you, so what do you think is the stupidest/useless/obvious information FF has ever given the player?

In Final Fantasy XII in the beginning, when you're told to push the analog stick to walk.

Right, like I need a tutorial to teach me how to control my character.

"This is a well. You might think there is something to it, but in fact it is just an ordinary well."

From FF1.

A favorite is the guy who stands near the main entrance in Bartz's hometown in FFV and says: "This is your hometown."
