Mine would have to be just when you meet Irvine and you let him go with Selphie and Rinoa. It's funny, I've done this part of the game nine times, and every time I switched them out for some reason except this last time. I LOLed so hard.

This game is filled with unbelievably great scenes. My favorite would be the assassination attempt on Edea, from Rinoa's father walking you through the hilariously complex scheme through Edea chucking an ice shard through Squall. I have a save right before it all begins just to go back and play that scene. Love it!

I enjoy the Battle of the Gardens the most. But the FMVs from the Lunar Space station are brilliant as well.

Squall being caught off guard when asked to make a speech to the whole of Garden is a pretty good one. I also have a soft spot for when you have the flashback of Laguna with Raine and Ellone, it's kind of sweet seeing Laguna and Ellone together.

I love it when Rinoa kicks Irvine down the stairs in the prison. So funny.

the garden battle is a very exciting scene. I also enjoy arriviving back at balamb to warn cid about the missiles only for the place to be in chaos. Once i tried siding with norg and the faculty, it was so funny seeing Seeds in trouble and clicking ignore:p

the ending is also the best in an FF IMO, the scene with laguna in the field is really sad.

I loved how he ran across the lot while explaining the plan. It just seemed out of character for him XD

I love the scene when fighting the guard in the battle of the gardens on the hover thing...and you see everyone fighting and when you land on the ground with Rinoa its like a scene from Saving Private Ryan, with explosions and the like....Simply adrenaline pumping...

My favorite scene's the alternative ending to the 'Save Balamb Garden' excursion: NUKEFEST! The thought of multiple main characters dying really just brings a smile to my face. ^__^

Any scene with Seifer being a smart-ass, especially when Quistis shoots him down before the SeeD exam, by wishing him luck even when he says 'save those words for a bad student who needs them, eh?'

The Laguna sequence when he pushes Ward and Kiros off the cliff then says, 'You guys sure are brave... You know how high it is?' implying that they jumped, and then when he tries to climb down carefully, he slips and falls. 'Oh, sh... No way.... AAAAAAAGGGGGHHHH!'

The intro FMV was still my favorite but there are some other great scenes too. The dancing and the ragnarok Rinoa+Squall scene are close seconds.

I liked the part where Squall was carrying Rinoa along the traintracks to Esthar with "Love Grows" in the background. The best FMV's were on the space station, so I really enjoyed that part and coming back with Rinoa on the Ragnarok (accompanied by "Eyes on Me"). Oh, and the scene in the destroyed basketball court where they discover they all went to the orpanage, even Edea. Those were my favorites.

VIII had countless great scenes, but my favourite was when Squall rescued Rinoa from the Sorceress Memoral.

all the above are fantastic choices. And I'd agree with nost if not all.

I played VIII as my first experience of Final Fantasy, and whilst I was wow-ing and ooh-ing through the whole thing, the scene (at least fmv) that really did it for me was the appaearance of ragnorak.

Besides that watching selphie flying the thing was damned funny too...

I think the greatest scenes in game is first the intro FMV .And second the FMV before seed attack to timber .But all of this game is great on my opinion .
