Gillionaire would probably be useful to you, I don't remember Gil drops off the top of my head, sorry.

It depends on where you are in the game. I usually just run around and fight a bunch of battles until I'm happy with what I've got. Encountering Ragtime Mouse helps, as well as equipping Millionaire.

Selling some old equipment that you are unlikely to Synthesize also helps. :)

Kill gimme cats with the millionaire ability (I think quina learns this from a yellow scarf)... you get 75,000 gil per battle I believe

I actually found this game one of the easiest to make money on.

Yeah if you're on disc 2 or 3 with travel access....head for Daguerro and fight Gimmie Cats outside with Gillionaire equipped on Quina's abilities. 75,000gil per battle is very good.

Yeah Gimmie cats are the best way to get the highest gil from battles...nothing drops more than it...without Gillionaire it will drop around 5,000 standard..but with Gillionaire it will drop much more...

No way... I've been synthing and reselling Cotton robes. I had no idea you could make that much off gimme cats!

The Gimme Cats and the Cotton Robe trick are both excellent ways to make money, but I've always found that I have enough money by fighting normal enemies. The enemies in Memoria give great Gil in the late-game.
