Flashing Top Right Circle

I don't know if it's just my game or what, but every time I play there is a continuous flashing circle in the top right corner. I've tried cleaning the disc, cleaning the Playstation, and even pushing circle when the icon appears. Does this happen in anyone else's games? If not, what could it be?

Icons appear in the top right when the game is loading or saving. Could that be it?

No, it dosen't look like the saving icon. It looks like the circle button. It just flashes for no reason.
