What are your favorite child hood trends, if not teen or adult hood trends? Which ones do you think got out of hand, or which one's where under done?

Pokemon.

Here's to catching them all on Pokemon Red/Blue and then spending 2 months trying to catch Mew on Cinibar Island using the Missing No. glitch.

Aww, I remember those. ^_^

Um, I loved Pogs. I remember for one summer that's ALL any of us did, collect and battle each other using pogs.

Omg I had like 20 of them! And none of them matched what I wore, but no one cared about that. xD

The cool kids had slap bracelets. The cool kids had Skip-Its. The cool kids had chatter rings. The cool kids had koosh balls. The cool kids had Tamagotchi. The cool kids had Pokémon. I never got that :skull::skull::skull::skull:. It’s not that I didn’t want to be in the mainstream, it’s just that I was too lazy. I got marbles once, and I stuck with those fuckers as long as I could.

QFT. I'm still addicted to Pokémon to this day.

Oh, and I had those Giga Pet things too. But for some reason, I was scared of them as a kid. I don't know why, to this day. Maybe it's because they never lived longer than a day for me. I always woke up and my puppy was dead. :(

Don't forget those Yomega brand yo-yos that could automatically sleep and do special stuff. I got pretty good at those when I had them. ;)

Pokemon were cool, I used to be able to tell you anything about any given Pokemon... but after they released a hundred new ones I couldn't keep up with them at all, I just gave up.

They weren't just a "trend," but the Teenage Mothersmurfing Ninja Turtles. I was never into pokemon or giga pets or any of those things that were the rage when I was in elementary school.

pogs, yo-yo's etc. I remember those freaking furbies too. Out of everything, I like my mullet and cat scratches the best. /victory for the 80s
