(you are welcome to make another thread about men if you'd like, it just sounded too generic to put 'seriously talented people')

Pffft, best deviantartists are clearly enayla (http://enayla.deviantart.com/), loish (http://loish.deviantart.com/), and klar (http://klar.deviantart.com/).

Also, most talented woman I know is Hannah Lachman. She plays keyboard for Tokyo Showdown (http://www.myspace.com/tokyoshowdownca), but is actually a classically trained concert pianist. She's everything a young lady should be.

Well, right now I'm infatuated with Mia Michaela, choreographer extraordinaire (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Eht9zFDZ8kY). I think she's brilliant beyond belief, and a real visionary.

I think one of my best friends is an extremely talented woman. She can do anything she puts her mind to. She's taught herself how to sew (she now makes complicated clothing), how to webdesign, and she's an amazing artist as well.

Janis Joplin. :D
Virginia Woolf. She had the right ideas.
Sonia Gandhi. I like seeing women rock in politics.

Others I suppose. I can't think now. I'll post as more come to mind =)

No one will probably bother to watch this...

Shiina Ringo from Tokyo Jihen has some bizarrely wonderful talents when it comes to writing and playing Jazz/Rock Music (And unlike some bands, sounding 30 times better live!)!

YouTube - Tokyo Jihen - Himitsu [live from DYNAMITE OUT] (http://youtube.com/watch?v=PY4VfDvHvZc) (Sound and video quality are something to be desired in this one but OH WELL! I like breathtaking upbeat intro within the song ^^)

YouTube - tokyo jihen - sounan (http://youtube.com/watch?v=uyf9M7mt_RY) (A really nice song, You can tell she really gets into it mid-song, And plays the guitar nicely to finish off)

YouTube - Tokyo Jihen - Kurumaya-san (http://youtube.com/watch?v=RV1VBYrfvTU) (She plays the Melodica awesomely!... by now you can see that the strain of standing up on stage while trying to concentrate on so many different ways of playing and singing is really getting to her and the band members)

Good one. :)

I would have to say my grandmother for her cooking and handwork, to say the least. :cat:

My mom :) She didn't have the greatest childhood (her mom slapped her often and called her various names just because), she had no brothers and sisters, yet she delivered 6 kids successfully, is still married to my dad and in love, and is the best mom in the world :)

Alice Sebold is a genius, and both Lucky and The Lovely Bones are incredibly compelling books which have emotionally involved me more than almost any others.

Sarah McLaghlan. I don't think I can explain her. Just go listen. Her songs are truly beautiful.

It's a random name. My point was that you're all fantastic.
