If you look Vaynes 3rd form from further away (The Undying) it looks almost like the original Bahamut. Don't you think so?

Watch the FMV of Vayne transforming into the Undying the shot at the end of that FMV looks undoubtedly like Bahamut but I have a feeling its intentional.

Well its completely logical that he does. He gathers the material to make himself from the Bahamut airship, he is sorta "becoming" bahamut.
