I have the same flowers that are in picture 2 & 3 are they purple as well?

Those recent flower pictures are much better IMO. The buds in the second are amazing. Lovely work.

Love the purple one! :3 Are they orchids?

I think the black and white ones are fantastic, though. I usually see flowers with colors and this is a bit different. No photographer I know would desaturate a picture of a flower.

This is the lens (http://www.amazon.com/Canon-50mm-1-8-Camera-Lens/dp/B00007E7JU/ref=sr_1_1/102-1716262-1490546?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1184892133&sr=1-1) I shot these photos with. It's so great, for such a low price.
