I don't think we have any literal interpreters of the Bible, but in any case this is in jest. Obviously they were pretty darn close to say pi = 3 (which is what the text implies).

In any case, do literal interpreters of the Bible think pi = 3 ?

Well apparently Pi is just at theory. The text books should be written to contain Pi as 3.0 and Pi as 3.14... and let students decide on their own instead of forcing the atheistic idea of a 3.14... Pi on them.
