What team should I use?

What level should I be and where should I train?

What abilities should my people know?

Where do I get -aga spells (or where do I get the equipment that teach -aga spells to be more specific)

1) Use anyone you want. Whatever combination best fits your fighting style. I used Eiko, Steiner, Freya, and Quina when I was at that point. (You can take out Zidane when you enter Memoria.)

2) 50-60 is good. Grand Dragons are a great source of exp. Memoria is a great place also. Yans are tough, but they give enourmous returns.

3) All of them.

4) not sure. I haven't played the game in a long time and -aga spells aren't available yet on my current playthough. =(

1) Zidane, Dagger, Vivi, and anyone else. This balances out your group.
2) I was lvl 55 and I did quite well.
3) Any status-resisint ability and abilities like Auot-Regen or Auto-Float will help.
4)Can't help you right now on that.

Octagon rod gives -aga black magic, and there are a lot of curaga-teaching items.

The last area in Memoria. I would tell you more but I don't want to spoil anything. Enemies there give 7 AP if I'm not mistaken. It's been awhile since I've been there so I could be wrong.

For question 4, Im afraid that you've probably missed it, like I did during my first playthrough.

You learn them from the octagon rod. But that appears in a shop at Gulug for a while, then it dissapears. Then its in Daguerro for a while. But it dissapears again eventually. Cant remember exactly when though.

My personal favourite team is Steiner, Vivi, Zidane, Garnet.

But sometimes Amarant slots in for Vivi. And occasionally Freya. In fact, all party members are strong, so choose a balanced team that is high levelled, and just go with the flow.

Auto-regen is an awesome ability. So i auto-haste.

If you don't have an Octagon Rod by Disc 4, you're outta luck I'm 'fraid. Flare and Bio can fill in pretty easily, though, so it's not much of a loss unless you're a perfectionist.

Zidane, Steiner, Viv, and Garnet is probably the easiest team to beat it with, although Garnet and Eiko can be interchanged depending on if you want someone who leans more towards white magic or summons.

for the final battle you should try to have as many status-preventing-abilities as you can, as the last boss has some that will really screw up your day. i forget which ones exactly, but you'll definately want to prevent confuse and zombie.
