yeah. there are like 2-3 crates near the gate (one of them is near the boss that drops the key to the city. open those three up and the gates disappear. you can also make every other gate disappear by opening nearby crates.

everyone keeps saying that and i don't understand it. i do them all (with the exception of the sword fetching quest) in 15-20 minutes. it's basically three quests since almost all of them override with another one.

when i got the crusader title i spammed 5-6 achievements into my guild and they called me a huge nerd. got the ambassador and "of darnassus" titles at the same time as well.

AMG GUILD DRAMA.

I went from my guild of friends to this one guild that took me to Naxx 25 and then Uld 25, then the gm goes crazy passes lead to his IRL best friend, that GM goes crazy 2 weeks later and then gives lead to someone else, who gives lead to someone else who then disbands the guild at like 3am!

I then am begged to join their new guild, I say no because disbanding guilds without telling anyone and taking everyone's stuff from the gbank even if they aren't coming to join, and making a new guild to specifically run away from people instead of just kicking the problem people is pretty fail on the glead front.

SO, I'VE BEEN SITTING AROUND GUILDLESS, posting applications to the best guilds on my server~

I had a trial run with -THE- best guild on my server last night and they loves me, I just have to prove I won't be late and I'll be on for runs two more times and then I'm in.
I'm in core 10 man group and a back up for the 25 man, I can get promoted to the 25 group once I show the guild (not the 10 man leader) how cool I am.

Heh my old guild did this switcheroo to a "new" guild, but the new guild sucked! Since I play in EU server I can only raid weekends so I was saddled with endless naxx 10 runs and pugging 25 runs.

I'm trying a new guild now, who does naxx 25 and Ulduar 10 on weekends. I hope it works out!!!!

And like the new guild that got reformed, the leader of the guild now wants to transfer to another server because he was quite the forum whore and it's been getting around that they ninja'd the old guilds gbank without even telling the people who put into it, and now the new guild looks like one of the big dirty wow guilds that no one wants to run with.

So instead of just fessing up to all the hate they're getting SERVER WIDE, they want all people in their guild to server transfer.

I'll be doing ULD on Wed, Friday and Sunday I think, 7:30pm-12am. I'll have my first yogg kill tonight! Yay! We're doing hard mode's next week, Yay!

While I'm normally the kind of freak who likes getting achievements and stuff, it's just not really worth my time anymore.

Not going to lie though, playing on the PTR is fun. The Barrens is everywhere and the second people realize that you know something about X class, people who made premades of that class orgasm and start bombarding you with questions.

I'm just a douche and say "Level one to 80" but sometimes I'm nice and actually speak to them.

I think I might quit my great guild today, I feel super bad because they were all kinds of excited to have me, but I haven't done dailies and am rocking like 2g, and I don't really feel like buying gold and putting more money into something that isn't as worth it.

Either way, Bruce and I are playing alot less, we're both bored.

I shocked everyone by selling all the armor on my mage and rogue.

As weird as it sounds, just playing my rogue makes me wanna do hard core raiding, and my mage just sits there being useless.

So until the 17th (when I go to Wisconsin) I'll just be on and off getting healing gear for my husbands priest since if I play I don't wanna be shadow.

If I come back it'll be if my husband plays in Iraq, but who knows...

Although WoW doesn't need more elves, High Elves would be an interesting new Alliance race. There are still High Elves in Azeroth, one that comes to mind is at Darkshore docks. They have blue eyes instead of green because they didn't go sucking down the fel magic.

The current speculation is that since Goblins have a reasonable explanation for joining the Horde (*), Worgens would be the playable race for the Alliance. This is heavily discussed and most generally the reasoning for this would be that Worgen are not specifically evil (despite what other sources may say). Another reason could be that this is a "special" breed of Worgen, but that's kinda lame.

The other theory is that, with the new faction change service, Goblin and Worgen will be given their own faction, a neutral faction, along with a possible two other undiscovered races. This gets my vote, because that'd be interesting.

A third theory would be that neither new race is given a specific faction right off the bat and instead a quest chain in their respective starting zone allows them to choose which side they want to be on. This is widely regarded as one of the most interesting theories but I don't think it holds much ground personally.


* - According to the lore, a break within the goblin faction led to a certain trade prince taking a bunch of goblins away from the neutral side and striking out on his own. A likely reason for these goblins to join the horde would be due to the recent Kul'Tiras activity which is supposed to be an available area in the new expansion.

There is a lot of speculation on this. It was all started when someone (MMO-Champion, maybe) datamined some new Halloween masks for both Goblin and Worgens. Halloween masks are typically reserved for playable races.

I highly doubt the goblins would choose side. Their entire modus operandi seems to be "sell to the highest bidder". They don't care about politics or ethics in any way. They're like the Ferengi in that way. Choosing sides in a 2 sided battle would drastically cut their profits. Not only would they lose out on half their clients, they would also lose the chance for bidding wars.

As for the Worgen, well, I don't think I like that idea. I never really liked the Frenzyheart worgen style (the original ones, like the ones you see in Duskwood, are much cooler), and the Frenzyheart worgen are the only ones who aren't shown to be evil. The others are tied in with Archmage Arugal or the Black Riders and the Scythe of Elune, and, yeah, seem to be completely evil.

I would like to see the Pandarans. Pandaria is an as-yet unexplored area. Supposedly in Northrend, yet we've seen no sign of it, nor even any undead Pandarans. I doubt they'll be a playable race though, as whichever faction did not get them would be very upset, and rightfully so.

I got an e-mail yesterday for "Lang" that my account was now merged with bnet, so I got home from Wisconsin today, get online and follow myself around while whispering my hacker while he farms ele's in borean tundra. He's getting kind of annoyed, I'm also tagging everything he targets. <3
And yeah, I've sent an e-mail and opened a ticket.

What's even better, is that's why I delete most of my things when I stop playing, I bet the guy was pretty shocked when he saw both of my 80's having like 2 peices of gear. =D

I've bought gold for about 2 years now, ironically though, the people I buy through I'm now friends with, so I doubt they'd hack me. To the point where they tell me the best farming places, and call me by first name, even ask how I'm doing in raids and what the best money maker is. <3 Why are they my friends? Because for my husbands birthday, I bought him 200$ worth of gold, since then they're like "We offer you discount! =D!", prolly spent atleast 1000$ buying gold. > >;;

My friends and I have decided that the hacker must have been REALLY slow at doing what he does. I hadn't been on WoW or anything WoW related minus the forums (which I don't click links) since July 6th. I was able to log in until my sub was up on July 14th, and my friends say he's been on my rogue (who's now farming ele's in boren in 3 epics and some greens (MY ROGUE HAS AN INVOKER MACE LOLOLOL)) for about 4 days now, the bent merge came like 3 days ago. Appaently he farms BT on my mage, and ele's on my rogue.

I'll get it back though, I opened a ticket on my husbands account saying basically: This is my info, I'm watching myself run around killing eles, and now it's been escalated, and that they will get in contact with the original wow account owner and then the bnet owner to basically prove they're to different people.

I have to admit though, it's been fun throwing SW:Pain on everything he targets, he lets everything try to hit me but I just bubble and they die eventually from the ticks. He even tried to sprint away, but he kinda wasted that because he like ran, and then stopped, keyboard turned to figure out where he was going, and by the time that he went back running sprint had like 1 second.
Oh and he tried to stealth away from me too. And he's 51/13/7 with a sword and a caster mace.

I told him to change the hair too, 'cause I always change my hair like every two days. If he's going to pretend to be me, he might as well do it right.

Come to find out, I'm apparently a massively great healer, and I never knew it. Topping the healing meters, and being the lowest on over healing, and I still have shadow gear on. So I don't really mind at all that my rogue and mage are unplayable. All the money went to my priest, it's pretty spiffy. <3

I'm only Exalted Champion of Orgrimmar and Undercity. I'll feel more compelled to do the quests on my Warrior too, since my :bou::bou::bou::bou:ty 60% speed flyer is now a 150%. Shalyn and I just only really started doing those dailies last week. I'll have four months to get my Crusader title and Dragonhawk though, I'm sure I'll get it by the end of the month.

Also only fifteen more achievements away from my Red Proto. I think our regular triumvirate is around the same amount too. We did Ruby Void, Emerald Void, Gotta Go!, Watch Him Die, Lodi Dodi We Loves The Skadi, and a few more of the pain in the ass ones over the weekend. I'd like to get the other Oculus ones done tonight, and maybe Ahn'Kahet if we can get the right group composition.

Already decided to go back at the end of August, 2 months break, plus misses out the lameness that is summer in the World of Warcraft.

Anyway I have 2 main characters. I stupidly switched over to a death knight with WotLK and kind of wished I hadn't, now my 310% flyer is on my DK. But the warlock still has her Armani War Bear <3 should be able to get the 310% from Uldaur when I get back but we'll see.

Ahhh yes, the good ol' days of 40m raiding. Ahhh the memories.Yeah, I miss those days! But there are some things I like about the current game, mainly that you need all 25 of you to be on the ball to actually get hard modes done. Back in the old days you could be carrying like 10 players. Though C'thun was good for that considering you needed everyone to stand right and move right. In my old guild we used to have this druid that always opened every fight with NS > HT, got aggro from something and died: he was a retard, but we still killed stuff.

It was back in 3.0.8 I think, if you ate say a deviate fish at exactly the same time as you spawned a dancing rune weapon for some bizarre reason it would make your target and your DRW also take the deviate fish form (notice there is me in mid-swing, a pirate with betrayer of humanity-my DRW-and patchwerk as a pirate :P). Worked with noggenfogger too, they've fixed it now though :(

Ooh, a screenshot of Patchwerk back when he was manly and not such a smurfing joke. Also smurf Leotheras. Shalyn and I got dragged to that fight about four days after hitting 70, still in quest greens and a few heroic blues. We couldn't kill our demons and half of the raid was completely inept.

Last week I just stood there for five minutes while the tree-druid solo healed the tanks on 10 man. Too bad he kinda sucks at tanking and left his resto gear on to OT for Gluth. Running back and forth to spam heals on him and help the kiter was agonizing. We could have had one of our two elemental shamans do it, but for whatever reason our MT decided to do it.

Also, I don't really want an addon that's for healing, but an addon that tells me when that Surge of Light procs only because like half the time I never notice and it'd nice to see it be more OBVIOUS when I get my free Flash Heal. <3

For healing I would almost certainly recommend Grid (Grid : WoWInterface Downloads : Raid Mods (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info5747-Grid.html)), it is probably the best raid UI out there in my opinion. A great addon that works well with Grid is Clique (Clique : WoWInterface Downloads : Unit Mods (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info5108-Clique.html)). You can customise it so different clicks on the raid frame do different things. Like on my paladin if I shift left click a frame it casts flash of light and if I crtl left click it does holy light etcetera.

Surge of light procs could be shown with MSBT (MikScrollingBattleText : WoWInterface Downloads : Combat Mods (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info5153-MikScrollingBattleText.html)) it comes with notifiers for stuff like that. You could also try PowerAuras (Power Auras Classic : WoWInterface Downloads : Plug-Ins & Patches (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info14291-PowerAurasClassic.html)) this is one of my favourite addons ever. Get for making customised warnings for buffs/debuffs and making them as big and as bold as you like.

Other addons that I find essential nowadays are Quartz (Quartz - Addons - Curse (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/quartz.aspx)), AgUF (ag UnitFrames : WoWInterface Downloads : Unit Mods (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info5468-ag_UnitFrames.html)) but that is just preference really, there are so many UF addons that are good.

After I get my priest in atleast Uld 10 or higher gear, I'm going to either remake my rogue (Alizat Troll Rogue Lvl 80 thus been destroyed by myself and then moreso by a hacking) and then my mage (Áshe BE Mage LvL 80 thus been destroyed by myself then moreso hacking).

Now, I could just save up the gold and regear them because they're missing stuff like.. well.. weapons and rings and like.. neck.. basically anything that wasn't a tier or vendor, but then I would be paying for three accounts which.. well would just be annoying.

What?! I loved Duskwood. I loved Stitches and watching him wipe the floor with me. Every time he was summoned I would try to take him on, testing how many guards I would need for help, or how big a party we needed to take him.

Duskwood is still one of the game's best areas. Fun quests, good lore, and a truly excellent atmosphere.

If you're a level 13 gnome mage you don't have tier 1 armor. Tiered armor sets don't come into play until much later in the game. You merely have "armor," probably some of which isn't even uncommon yet.

Also, may I suggest speccing frost, as a mage. I have a level 70 and level 64 mage, and frost is by far the easiest to play with. It's not as strictly powerful as fire, but you save a lot of downtime by going with the more mana-efficient frost.

The survivability factor of frost far outweighs the lack of raw power that fire has. I leveled 1-70 as a fire-specced mage and had a hell of a time doing so. I went from 70-76 in no time at all without dying even once. On a PvP server, nonetheless.

Priests are torture until around 20. Then it gets slowly better over time and gets really easy around 50 or so. Once you learn Power Word: Death, it's simple as hell. I'm taking most of that from a friend of mine, I only got my priest to 46 before I decided I wanted a druid and hunter instead.

There are definitely easier classes to level than priest though.

I've just started playing WoW again from a long break. I'm currently leveling a Orc Hunter in the Burning Blade server (US). My ign is Serady, in case anybody is wondering.

So, I have recently hit level 80 about a month ago. Here's the link to my armory:

Seeing that I couldn't raid with a good guild due to the time-zone, my inability to use a vent, and the pugs on my server failing a lot due to a lot of ninja and wipe moments. I've tried my best getting gear from legit pugs, and I've done it.

What's my opinion on WOTLK so far? It's ridiculously easy to gear up, I'm not even joking. The majority of WoW players are casuals, so Blizzard make thier lives easier. All you have to do is to:

1) Get drops from heroics and save conquest badges for item level 226 gears.
2) Run a heroic daily everyday and do vaults, and save triumph badges for item level 232+ gears.
2) If you have got gold, just craft item level 226+ or 245 gears.

When you have met these requirements, you're basically ready for the latest PVE content (currently ToC and ToGC.) with a huge gap from Naxx and even Ulduar. Because normally you have to get gear from (A) raid in order to run (B) raid successfully. This change is the reason why it's so easy to gear up, except that it's a bit time consuming.

Ok, my rant here is done. At the moment, I'm trying to level Jewelcrafting and Blacksmithing ... what a pain in the ass to level. I want these professions because of thier two extra sockets and better gems. Two sockets combined with 68 agi (from two 34 agi gems) gems = ftw?

So I go in there and my gear is crap since I hadn't really raided since like ulduar had just come out. And this DK is all "I'm in tier 9 let me tank" Yeah easy mode tier 9.

You mean 3:3. We're at 3.2 already. :p I'm sure that glyph will be crazy expensive, and it also keeps them from using Freeze, which is rather important for AoEing, as the regular Frost Nova cooldown was too long.

that may be true for your server, but i'm making a steal on Iron Ore, Throrium Ore and Mithril Ore (not gone to Outlands yet for anything else). and i'm selling low-level leathers for fun, although i do agree its not a major amount of gold, it's still an income.

and well, skinning doesnt take that long if you take it as your first profession when you start your char, you just skin everything you see, and mining can take a long time even with smelting, because you only get so many smelts and then it doesnt lvl anymore. i'm lvl 51 and only got mining to 255 (admitedly i haven't mined til my hands are dust..)

Well, Forge of Souls and Pit of Saron are easy enough. Halls of Reflection probably would have gone okay, but it bugged out and so we had to stop and decided not to try it again yet.

I healed Forge of Souls without realizing I was in shadowspec.

Me and my roommate decided to heirloom-level druid alts. We'll see how that goes!

The new random dungeon system is awesome and completely destroys the old LFG and daily Heroics systems. Plenty of good, solid, easy to get groups, nice rewards, and easy transitions from dungeon to dungeon.

Oh and every nab now thinks they can heal or tank, including me :p Tanked a lot lately. To the despair of people who want a 15 minute run :p

I've had near zero issues with the new Dungeon Finger thing, with the exception of DKs tanking, which I still don't like healing for. But the majority of tanks I've gotten have been exceptional.

And yeah, when I'm done with my final today I'm going to random heroic for the rest of the day. T-9 by Christmas!

EDIT: God, I just spent 750 gold gemming/enchanting pants. I hate WoW. But they do give me over 200 SP now. :P

Get on a raiding guild... Not a hardcore one, they are usually elitist jerks. Get on a casual raiding guild. They will show you the ropes. Raiding is fun if you do it with nice people :love:

PS: With a wow-heroes (http://www.wow-heroes.com/) 2470 gear score like you have, you can do pretty much all raids except icc 25 !

From the limited experience I have with Festergut (two or three attempts late at night), it isn't necessarily difficult as long as everyone has an understanding of what they need to do. Rotface is supposedly the more difficult fight though and I have yet to attempt him at all.

Saurfang is fun. Gearing up is easy and mage is probably the most fun I've had playing a class so far.

Saurfang and Festergut are boo-o-o-o-ring as melee.

I can do both with my head resting on one arm, and just clicking my rotation. And yawn.

On Saurfang, range gets a little action with the beasts and tanks need to swap every so often, and even then, ranged can stay put if they can burn the adds fast enough with some kiting/slowing.

Rotface is much more interesting (read: frustrating) because it's all about controlling the oozes while doing high dps, so everyone needs to be on their toes to run out when they have mutating, kite their small ooze, avoid the aoe from puddles/vomit/big ooze and run out of the ooze explosion, and in that fight, unnecessary damage is punished harshly.

Haven't done putricide yet, we couldn't get enough people last week due to people working or having net issues due to the snow, but it seems like an interesting fight too with the add burning/kiting plus high dps.

Y'know, I may not be the best tank out there, but I have never had a DPS pull aggro from my primary target. I mean, if you guys pull before I attack, yeah, the mob will start attacking you, but once it starts attacking me, it never gets pulled off.

My nightmare as a tank is a group of powerful single target DPSers all focusing on different targets and ignoring kill order. Even that is largely not a problem in Heroics though, since if they are powerful enough to do that much DPS, the things generally die before they get to be a problem for the squishies anyway.

95 mounts so far. 2 more PvP (ugh) mounts to get, 1 more Tourney mount, and I am 500 gold away from the 8k mammoth. Not sure where to pick up my final one for the 100 achievement. Winterspring, probably, since getting Oculus as a random is too rare for me.

Also, I understand that worry. I had a DK tank that I played for awhile and I constantly worried about that sort of thing. It never happened but it was in the back of my mind almost constantly. Arcane mages have so many ways to get out and away from danger that me pulling doesn't really concern me at all. I only do the pulls when I know the tank personally and know they can handle it, so that helps.

Aye DKs have weaker AOE aggro than palis. No one respects kill order anymore on my battle group.. dps is way too worried about looking pretty on recount. Had a rogue refusing to use tricks of the trade so his dps would show higher :p

As for pulling before tank, if I'm on a good mood, I just taunt it of them, if I'm pissed I go by the "you pull it, you tank it" rule :D
