I can't draw at all. I make good stick figures, though. xD And sometimes I just hopelessly doodle in my notebook, but that's pretty much the extent of it.

I've heard I'm good, but then someone comes and posts something by Leonardo da Vinci... and I lose my confidence.

Ouch!

I'm not very serious about my drawing, but I enjoy it, enough so that I got a tablet. I'm good enough, I suppose. I've never really put serious effort into improving, though. I took classes through my sophomore year of high school, but I stopped afterwards. I'm selective with the mediums I choose. Actually, when I'm drawing I only use my set of Faber-Castell 5B-5H pencils. I've also used charcoal in the past.

Some may have noted that I don't often draw in color. Can't stand the stuff.

I've been told that I'm good. Whether I believe that, I'm not so sure. But it's not up to me to decide after all.

Everytime I see you upload on DevArt my reaction is "Awww!" 'cause for some reason everything you draw is cute.

If I had a nice empty space where I could concentrate I might be able to do something half-decent, but as it stands I have to share a room with my brothers and whenever I try drawing something I get paranoid about them watching over my shoulder, which makes the end result suck horribly.

Yes, I can draw. Whether or not is it to be deemed good, bad, extraordinary, or atrocious, is in the hands of the viewer. I don't draw for the sounding of praise or admiration, for what I draw is innately expressionistic and surreal. In essence, they are my emotions and thoughts, of which, I feel you cannot place a value on.

Only I can do such a thing.

So, in other words, the viewer may be able to term my drawings as good or bad, but they cannot possibly tell me that my furious moods and thoughts are somehow superior to that of my somber, placid moods and thoughts.

I like doodling and some would say I'm good, I did Art at school and I used to want to do it professionally but ultimately I thought I was too impatient so I quit it at the last minute even though I had a definite place in a fine art course at college.
I think I just lack confidence or something, anyway it's too late now. I'm always gonna want to do what I can't do so I thought I should just stick with one goal and not deviate.

But yeah, I still doodle all over my notes constantly ^^

I've been told i'm an amazing artist all the time. In fact, last year the gifted education teacher said that one of my pieces of art (an artistic interpretation of Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven", for English class) was at a professional level. But I do love drawing (it's my favorite hobby), and wish to enter the video game artistry biz when I grow up.

Now me myself, I think that i'm pretty good, but not like, the best thing since sliced bread. I do think that i'm rather good for a 13 year-old though. Here's some of my work. And since I don't have a scanner (I need to get one soon!xD) I took some quick photos of some of my drawings. You can decide for yourself if i'm a good drawer:

http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n137/al-bhed_kid0827/LiekOMGArt014.jpg

As you can see, my trademark is adding lots of dangly things!xD And my specialty is drawing women (I have absolutely NO idea why!), so that's what I draw the most often.

I drew well in high school, but after high school all my artsy friends went on to take illustration classes and crap in college, so they got actually good while I just stay high school good, which is hardly decent at all by comparison.

I guess I'm good for my age.

It just depresses me when I look at Rocket and Slade's stuff though. Its a very objective question, I guess it depends on who is there.

If you're asked by a three year old you might say. "Yeah, do you want me to teach you?"

If you're asked by, I dunno, Da Vinci if he wasn't dead, you'd stand there and panic, then say , "Um, no, not at all."

Am going to replace the spare Maria in my gallery with this one...

I have no scanner so I had to shoot this with a camera...lost some quality there.

Did this in about 7 minutes . The face wasnt right but I did it quick and did not care to go back to it. It is basically simple, I dont post it for praise or anything, I just want to say that if you want to draw then start drawing and dont quit it and you will be amazed by how artistic you may truthfully be. People dont understand that even if you are artistic it takes alot of time, money and practice to get pro at it. I dont do the time, or money....so I just draw every once in awhile with these sort of results. I draw a few times a year , and Im often encouraged to do more. Again, I believe that some one of you just need to start and to not give up on it. Not a very serious drawing , a very quick one , I have not been inspired to be serious in a long time.
