Do you have a phobia of shots?

I don't but yesterday I got my shots for Hep A, and some other crap (I don't remember what it was), and this morning I woke up really sick. The sickness finally started to wear off around 12:00 and its just about all gone now

Needles arouse me.

You know that Fear Factor where they had to get the needles stuck in their arms?

Me = turned on.

Needles dont turn me on (lol, thats just funny), but when I donate blood I like to watch the needle go into my arm, and then feel that wierd sensation of the blood rushing out into the bag. :freak:

yes. the last time I got shots the nurse told me that I try so hard to hold in my emotions at getting a shot that it makes it worse and that's why I get so light headed afterwards.

The last time I got a shot, I didn't even feel the needle go into me. So...no, I don't have a phobia of needles.

Nope, I'm perfectly fine with shots. They don't bother me at all. Except when they're drawing blood from you. Those kind of needles hurt, but I'm not afraid of it. I just hate the kinds of shots that make your arm sore, but that's pretty much it.

My super powers allow me to withstand even the sharpest of needles. I do not fear them in the slightest.

Needles are needles. Nurses that make you pump your stress ball harder because your blood isn't flowing quickly enough and that are just trying to get their job over with so they can leave are bitches.

I have no problem with needles. For a couple of years my birth control was "the shot," so I got used to it. And a couple of weeks ago my four-year-old brother was diagnosed with diabetes so now I have to give him shots regularly.

I don't mind, really. Of course I can't remember my last shot, but I don't really mind most forms of physical pain anymore. :/

when I was 3 and had to get a flu shot for pre-school, I kicked, screamed, and bawled like a baby. However, that's the only time I've ever had a real reaction to shots. Now, the only thing I do is clench my eyes shut when the nurse is about to stick the needle in, but that's it. It doesn't hurt at all ^-^ The only time I've felt side effects was when I was in 7th grade and had to get a Hep. B shot (I think it was) for 8th grade. That made my entire arm sore =/

I do have a high tolerance for pain though, so that could be part of the needle thing. When I had a wart on my elbow, I went to the doctor to get it removed and he used liquid nitrogen. I didn't even flinch when he was using it, and my doctor was amazed by this, apparently. He said "Wow, you're tough! Grown men even complain when I use this on warts, but you're not making a sound. Does that even hurt a bit?" When I told him no, he was in awe

I do not mind needles. I actually like the feeling of them in the arm. I was a little nervous when I donated blood since it was a while since I had a needle in me, but I did not mind it at all.

Yeah I hate needles. I begin getting nervous the day before I go for shots and such. The worst, though, is the shots you get in the gums at the dentist. I hate those. I don't mind anything else. I'm fine with the drilling and the yanking, but I hate those damn needles. That's the reason I always procrastinate about going to the dentist.

Mirage

I barely even notice them. If you just relax your muscles, it doesn't really hurt at all.

I don't use anaesthetics when I get my cavities fixed at the dentist. It doesn't hurt all that much anyway.

I hate hate hate hate needles. They hurt 'cause I just can't relax when I know there's something pointy about to be stuck into my arm.

Needles don't really bother me that much. I have to look away when someone's about to stick one in me because I'll tense up if I see it, but other than that, I'm fine. Most shots don't really hurt that much anyway.

Depends where. If it's a finger prick, then that's fine. But if it's anything with a vein, it freaks me out, because I have this fear of veins and things near my veins.

Let's just say that the only reason I don't give blood is laziness and that the center is too far away, or that I'm lazy.

I love needles and I love to watch blood come gushing out of my arm into the bottle.

Seriously. It's surreal, like I'm dying but not really.
