So I borrowed FFIX from vivi_lover666 and his Disc1 is acting up. I checked the disc and it was a little grimy, but I was able to clean it okay...but there are two bad scratches on it
Aaanywayz, it was a little slow on the FMV sequences, but it only totally froze once. Thank goodness you can skip them with a PS1 on FFIX! So, I was about to fight Steiner, and I noticed the screen was black for a little longer than I expected...but eventually the battle started, so it was all peachy-keen....but then I had to fight him again, and again the screen was black for awhile...but...THE BATTLE WOULDN'T START! I just heard the battle music, but there was no battle :kaocry2:
I figured it was just taking a long time like the last time, so I waited for awhile...then the music looped through twice, so I tried the same method I used for skipping cutscenes, and that didn't work.
...ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX?
I think it might work okay on the PS2, because my FFVIII is in so much worse condition and the PS2 reads it fine while the PS1 is so mean to it, but the PS2 is my little brother's and I don't like leaving my room unless it's for food or sumthin.
