Jade Empire or KotOR 1?

Which Bioware game do you like better Jade Empire or the original KotOR? I like both of these games but I like KotOR 1 a little bit more because of the open-ended gameplay you can go anywhere and do anything...That's something you can't do in Jade Empire because the gameplay is very linear.

Jade Empire ftw!

The gameplay may have been more linear, but the game was ultimately more polished, combat was superior in general, the graphics were more detailed and glossier, the music, though not excellent, was better, and overall there were more sidequests and people to talk to.

KOTOR it had good characters, more customization when it came to stats and abilities, better weapons, a better more established and recognizable setting, classic star wars storyline with good music and sound effects.

Definitely KOTOR, a much more open-ended experience. Like Jade Empire, and it did have a superior combat system, but I felt it was FAR too short.

Ancient Repulic Knights for sure. Jade Empire was really good, though it really does pale in comparison.

Can't wait for Mass Effect.

Kotor, light sabers are always cooler then swords. The story of Jade wasn't nearly as interesting either.
