Favorite Biggs and Wedge!

What is your Biggs and Wedge group I like the one in FFVIII because they were very funny plus I also liked killing when you fight them the second time because you could toy around with them and do some funny stuff.

In "Gibbs," the letters "g" and "b" are substituted for the other. "Deweg" is just simply "Wedge" scrambled up.

Seeing as FFVIII was the only one to give them sufficient screentime to actually give a toss about them, I'd go for that one. Besides, having 100 Regen at the beginning of disc 2 is always a bonus.

I didn't miss anything, I played the game, and didn't enjoy it too much.

My favorite Biggs and Wedge were the ones in FFVII. They were somewhat comical, but they were still nice characters, and it was sad to see them die during the Sector 7 destruction scene. The ones in FFVIII were quite funny, though you only got to see them for, what, 3 times during the entire game? The two were Blitzball players in FFX, and one of them (I think it was Wedge) was my best player when it came to scoring a lot.

They were both blitzball players in the game (very good ones I might add).
They were also guarding the main entrance to the Blitzball sphere. Wedge was really the only good Blitzball player out of the two. Biggs was just blah.

I thought Biggs and Wedge from Final Fantasy VIII were hilarious. Always bickering and always being demoted. They started out pretty high ranks and by the end, they were privates (I believe, though their exact ranks elude me) and ended up quitting.

On a side note, Biggs and Wedge from Final Fantasy VI were added in the PlayStation version of the game. In the SNES version of the game, they had Vicks and Edge instead.

I played VIII not even knowing they were from Star Wars. So for me they are like characters originally belonging to FFVIII. End of story

It was Vicks and Wedge, and I believe Vicks was Biggs in the Japanese version.

No he didn't. Despite how sub par an entry into the series it is, I agree that Biggs and Wedge were at their most entertaining in VIII, and one of the best parts of the game.
