Everyone loves themeparks. What is your favourite themepark? favourite ride?

Today I went to Alton towers (http://www.altontowers.com/) in Staffordshire, and I absoloutly adored it. The only negative aspect of alton towers is its too bloody popular. I had to buy a fast pass which costed me more if I wanted to get on every ride. It allows you to skip about 90% of the queue. Its only the second time Ive actually been there. You should see some of my ride photos, you know the ones they take whilst your on the ride? They are a state!

My favourite ride is Oblivion (http://www.altontowers.com/content.php?areaid=1&pageid=17). I get such a buzz after it, but its very short. Click the link, its a video! When you're hanging over the edge, it feels like ages.

I love Nemesis (http://www.altontowers.com/content.php?areaid=1&pageid=15) and Rita (http://www.altontowers.com/content.php?areaid=1&pageid=20). Rite actually petrifyed me. Its so fast you're stuck to the seat, the person sat next to me bought the ride photo, and you can just see the sheer stun on my face haha.

I'm very fond of Knott's Berry Farm. I actually haven't been there in two years, so I should go again soon. :o Six Flags is nice as well, minus the typically monstrous lines.

Favorite ride? ..I'm not sure I have one! The Silver Bullet at Knott's is really smooth, but Scream fro Six Flags is probably better. I'll get back to you on that in a few years. :P

The only negative aspect of alton towers is its too bloody popular amongst chavs and wannabe gangstas.Fixed.

Drayton Manor ftw. I've always preferred the good ol' fashioned log flume to coasters myself, and as Drayton Manor has an awesome one with a backwards drop and everything, (Stormforce 10) that one is my favourite.

Islands of Adventure eventhough it's limited in the amount of rides. I like all the rides there.

Incredible Hulk Rollercoaster is a favorite of mine:

It shoots you out from a giant purple tube.

Dueling Dragons is fantastic:

Each one is different. I think the red one is faster and the blue one has more spirals.

Bush Gardens and Island of Adventure are the best them parks in central Florida from my experience. Don't let Disney fool you. Disney sucks. Bush Gardens has 5 GOOD roller coasters in one park Disney has maybe 3, and you'd have to buy a park jumper or whatever.

Haven't been to a theme park in years. The only one I've been to really is Chessington World of Adventures, and that was about ten years ago or more. The best rides there were Ramses' Revenge that turned you upside down and squirted water at you (somewhere at my parent's house there's a picture of me and my cousins and aunt on it.)

I was also partial to the Vampire Ride rollercoaster, which I went on four times. It got lamer with every ride though, as I knew what was coming. :eep:

Gasp, I remember those. Waiting in line for the dragon ones was so much fun. Same for The Hulk. I need to go back there.

The Jurassic Park ride was the best though. 40+ people from my school all wearing bright orange shirts. :]

That ride was unreal!

Mine is definitely Disney World in Orlando, FL. Went there when I was 11, had so much fun.

Disneyland you go for because of the girl. Six Flags you go with your buddies.

Worlds of Fun in Kansas City has an awesome roller coaster called the mamba.

There's one in Arkansas called Magic Springs that's pretty neat. It has a couple of good roller coasters I liked.

Disney is geared for a different age range. At least Magic Kingdom is. Epcot has Mission:Space and Test Track which are both awesome. Disney-MGM Studios has Tower of Terror and Rockin' Rollercoaster. All of which are better, in my opinion, than anything at Universal Studios...

My favorite theme park was Six Flags Fiesta Texas. My favorite ride was the scream. http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/travel/tg/poi/4e/150x157_4e332478db0100f3dd796e4eafce238d.jpg
The tall thing in the back is the scream. Sorry couldn't get a bigger image.

Well, the only theme park I've ever been to is Canobie Lake Park (http://www.canobie.com/rides.php). It doesn't have THAT many rides, but the ones I did go on, were really fun. I went on the Corkscrew, and it's pretty fun, but while on it, I didn't really think that. xD. When you're at the top, just waiting to go down, it's so scary. Like when it starts slowing down and then you just go really fast all the way down just to go on like 2 loops. xD. I also went on a few of the kiddie rides. xD. Also on the Boston Tea Party where I got soaked. It was a blast. I went as a school trip for 8th grade. :D

Six Flags. Hands down.

I went on the Bugs Bunny like 20 times in one day; and didn't throw up!

I've never been on any sort of roller coaster, I fear them.

I haven't been to too many theme parks either. :(

Six Flags!!! I love Medusa, me and my friends and/or family always ride on that one. Always. And like, so many times, if we have that chance! And I pretty much like any water rides, because they have ... water ... and also because it's just fun to go on them!
