I heard the fat your body acumulates is less if you eat desert before the main meal! But I never do that!

Rarely. I don't even remember the last time I did that, but dessert after the dinner meal feels like it completes the dinner meal! If you eat dessert before, it just don't feel the same ...

I almost never have desserts anyway but on the chance I do have a dessert it has to be after dinner its just not right any other way. You save the best stuff for last. I never understood how my friends will eat the good stuff first and then eat their sandwhich for lunch or something. It just doesn't make sense.

In some cases, the dinner tastes better than the dessert anyway.

I'm too poor to afford dessert

Ouch!

You watched Roger Waters live on TV last night too, huh? How'd you like the group of African American children "singing" the chorus for that song? I've never heard a group of Americans sound so amazingly British.

I'm picky about dessert. I like brownies and pie. Applesauce or carrot cake on occasion. These do not regularly appear in my household. I'm not adverse to making a snack of dessert before dinner, though.

Nah. I don't 'cause it feels stupid to eat dessert before dinner.
We rarely have any desserts anyway.

Desert before dinner? Isn't that a bit much?

Plus all the sand... :eep:

No, seriously, sometimes I will negate a cooked meal for a bowl of ice cream or something. Not very healthy, I know. Back when I was a student I used to eat ice cream for breakfast!

Never. It'd be weird at say, Christmas, you're eatting pie, and delicious treats, while everyone else is eatting turkey and the other myriads of food present. I think you'd be getting alot of "wtf" looks.

Yep. If it wasn't for my paranoid mother, my days wouldn't even have two distinguished meals (lunch and dinner) -- I'd just eat snacks and random stuff whenever.

I don't eat dessert. I resent having to eat a stupid piece of cake when I've already eaten as much as humanly possible for dinner. I don't like saving room.

I'd rather have no dessert. I'm usually very full after my dinner. :jess:

It would feel wierd eating a dessert before a main meal, its just a norm that you save it till last. Im such a sweet person though - I always have been, according to my parents, I could claim I was full after a meal as a baby, as I probably didn't like it too much, but as soon as "dessert" was mentioned my arms would come out, and Id be saying "FOOD!". No wonder I had so many fillings as a child :p

I control my craving for sweets these days, usually as my parents don't really buy desserts. Im ALWAYS hungry after main meals though, I keep telling them to give me more ;__;

My brother's gf has a theory I subscribe to, or have no problems with subscribing to: she says that we have two stomach(s) -- a food stomach and a dessert stomach. So you can eat your fill of food, and then have room for dessert.

Anyway, I often joke that one can eat dessert until it overflows the dessert stomach, thus eating dessert in the food stomach. Yay!
