Why do people always assume that he's gay? Give me one good reason, besides the fact that he has his ear pierced, because that's no passable explanation.

Besides, I think it's fairly obvious that Tidus isn't gay when it comes down to the story line. You can have your opinion, but I guess in the end, it doesn't matter what you think. Facts are on my side. :p

I can still remember the line:

And the way it's said seals the deal. I had an idea before that line, but I knew it after that line.

You do remember that he also says, ""Hey, but what if she comes on to me?"" afterwards?

And whatever, you just have a messed up mind if you detect any hints of Wakka/Tidus in FFX through dialogue. You're just seeing what you want to see.

Yeah, that's exactly what I want to hear. Tidus and Wakka making ambiguously sexual comments to each other. But I did find it funny.

I agree with Tidus not being gay, but the one thing Tidus says, 'Big Guy', that's just a little creepy.

But honestly, why does everyone hate Tidus? I mean, he's a pretty cool guy besides the fact that he whines a little too much, but all FF characters need to have a little variety.

FF7 - A guy who thinks he was in Soldier but he was actually just a minimum wage grunt and lies about it.

FF8 - A loner who is afraid to get close to anyone. Bad childhood? mmmyes?

FF9 - A freak of nature that is half man and half monkey. Also kidnaps princesses and makes them do... questionable... sexual... acts...

FF10 - A whiny teenager who gets warped 1000 years ahead. Star of the Zanarkand Abes, but that frankly doesn't say much since the first time you play with him in blitzball he's level 2.
