EoFF Bandwagoneerism: A Social Experiment

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Everyone knows what it is. For the median age at the fora, it is a cornucopia of nostalgia, and everyone can identify with wanting to be one of the Rangers, or one of the bad guys, or Alpha etc. etc. Which makes it a perfect set-up.

I'm proud to say that in my testing of the power of the bandwagon, the experiment was wildly succesful. First up, assemble a team of Rangers who everyone knows, and who I actually like. Psychotic boosted our popularity by probably 500%, and everyone (including myself) wanted to bed not only the Pink Ranger (which is a given), but also the Black Ranger (in part to test the rumor about penis length, but that is irrelevant).

Within a few hours of the band of signatures, nubnubs were asking to be in it as an obscure Ranger from a later season, "CAN I BE THE BURNT SIENA RANGER", and requests of that sort. This gave me quite a chuckle, but it did not stop there. We were thinking about adding two more as Zordon and Alpha, but wow, I never expected that someone would strip the sig and call himself Zordon! I lol'd at this aswell. Of course, what I had hoped would happen, did happen, as the "Prism Rangers" had to make themselves a faction to oppose the Power Rangers. In less than a week, there were requests to become part of it, people forcing themselves in without asking, and rival factions arising. The experiment was quite a success.

Well now, Prism Rangers, we're taking off the illusion of the Power Rangers, and we've become something you can never, in your wildest dreams top, the A-team. Read 'em and weep.

Paraphrase for all you queers ready to say "tl;dr":
The Power Rangers were formed solely for the purpose of testing. The A-team now rules supreme.

edit: here's a challenge for anyone that's thinking about jumping on the bandwagon: how about you try and do something original for once instead of ripping off someone else's idea?

It should be noted that Boom Snaff was the best bandwagon experiment ever. Add a couple of words which mean absolutely nothing to your sig, get a few other people to do it too, and then watch as other people also start adding it in. Let me just say, the most atrocious crimes in human history, were caused by groups and their group think. Groups for the sake of being a group, are completely horrible and only cause problems.

On that note, I'm almost always that independent kid. I was the guy in high school that knew everyone but had no particular group I hung out with. I'm the guy in college that has friends all over the place, and not just one group of people.

I've always been an individual thinker, and hence why I don't care when people hate me, and I've always found it funny when one person dislikes me, and suddenly their friends dislike me when I don't even talk to them. This happened to me recently, so I started talking to that guys friend to ask them why, they ended up liking me more than the other guy lol.

In conclusion, groups suck! Let's form a group that hates on all other groups (LOL not really)
