I heard about this game so I decided to get it from GAME.

And I love it it's great!

Anyone here like baldurs gate as well?

I have Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II for the PS2 and it's fun from time to time, but I tend to get tired of it after a while as it's a hack-n-slash that's not as good as Diablo II.

Shadows of Amn is MUCH better than those Dark Alliance. MUCH better. And they are completely different, too.

Baldurs Gate 2: Shadows of Amn is, by far, one of the best games ever made. I absolutely love it. :cool:

Even after beating every singel side mission, I can still play and enjoy the game over and over again. Also, Watchers Keep in the Throne of Bhaal expansion is one really cool place. If you have and enjoy BG2, but don't have Throne of Bhaal... well, get Throne of Bhaal ASAP! It's so worth the extra money! :cool:

I love that game! My 2nd favorite! What group do you have? Are you male or female? What's your class? What's your race? Who are you planning to romance?

Wait until you really get to know your party members! It really speeds up. Plus, my avy is of Valygar, who you must put in your party, because he lands so many criticals. Who's your fav NPC? (Non-Player, not playable Character i.e. Imeon, Minsc, Aerie, etc.)

Valygar/Viconia will come to blows because Viconia is a bitch to Val, so you moght want to keep them apart for a bit every few days or so.

Edwin/Minsc, Ed wanted to kill Dynaheir, Minsc's witch. So do the same above with them.

Massey? Do you mean the Halfling Fighter Mazzy? Oh wait, nevermind, custom character. If you have Nalia or Aerie, Minsc will adopt them as his witch at some point.

He played the suckass dungeon-hack version, the glory PC version is better than that Diando Eye EYe crap.

I've played trough the game twice. First as a chaotic good warrior (Arkynus), then as a chaotic evil mage (Ishamael).

I've made a total of atleast 8 characters, though. Just because character creation is so fun. xD

My party varies a lot, but I ALWAYS have Minsc on my team. Minsc is just too cool to be left out. :cool:

Fav weapon: Hindo's Doom

Fav spell: Dragon Breath

I play as a half-elf Neutral Good Bard, I always used Aerie, Minsc, and Valygar while everyone else was swapped as necessary.

But being nice is good! Only by being nice can you get Aerie, Keldorn, Minsc, Jaheira, Viconia, and Valygar (permanetly.)

Played this game to death, I absolutely love it. First time through I played a Lawful Good Elf Archer and romanced Aerie. It seems I'm the only person on the planet that wasn't driven to planting an arrow in her back from her constant whining. In fact I thought she was the best character in the game. She lost her wings for goodness sake! Have a heart!
