I did these pictures near the end of the school year but didn't have a scanner handy. Anyway I have a new picture of Nausicaa and a pic of a female Claymore character. I hope I'v improved since my last pics...please give me some comments. thank you :)

Well I'm not good in drawing but I got to say that this two is great..The first one is better than the second in my opinion..nice background and the eyes are really something...er the second one is kinda like Orochimaru :p Althought it's a girl...Oh and by the way the Takuma drawing you posted in the RP is really nice too.The colours are quite interesting either.

Good job. The second one is a little un-natural.

The eyes in the second one seem a little off... somehow... I dunno...

Other than that, both drawings are very good. Well done! :D

Do you have any plans for adding color? I think it would add a lot to them :)

Your eyes are very good and the quality of your pencil shading is excellent.

Nice stuffs.

Thanks:D Eyes are the windows to the soul. If I can't get the eyes right then the whole pic suffers...

Just like this girl who's suffering over the loss of her Ahl bed home.

It kind of sounds here that you're learning to draw using anime as you're main reference, and that's a really bad thing to do.

As a rule of thumb you should learn to draw realistically before something stylised like anime. Learn the rules before you break them.

Now I'm not sure if that's completely the case, but if you really want to improve I would suggest drawing some realism using real people as reference.

Also, ink your drawings before you try to colour them.

Its not my main reference. My earlier drawings were focused on realism.

This is true. And its been a hard lesson to learn.

I'll try some more realism in my next ones then.

Also, ink your drawings before you try to colour them.
I normaly avoid this because of mistakes that could destroy them but yes I have tried inking and might start doing it some more.

Thanks for the feedback. :) I'll keep the tips in mind too:D

Finished a new pic. I tried to make it a bit more realistic than the last ones.

They are all quite nice. Well done. How long did you spend on average at each one? Also, whats the longest you have spent on a single drawing at one time?

I took about an hour with that drawing and I used Basalisk as a reference.
