I first heard the term in a video game called Buried in Time: The Journeyman Project 3, which has a level set in a Mayan temple. Last year I saw Apocalypto, which is set during the Mayan period and the hero was named Jaguar Paw, and I could clearly hear the word 'Chac' whenever anybody addressed him.

Thanks. I usually leaf through the strategy guide until I hit a page that has something interesting on it. Then I latch onto a critical line to express the riddle, and then I build supporting lines around it.

I had to go digging for the title of this once I actually figured it out: It's the song "Trois Souris au Chateau Leblanc" on the soundtrack, which I think translates to "Three Mice In Leblanc's House."

But only underground (Chateau Leblanc is in Guadosalam)
Beware of rodents. (Refers to the 'mice' in the song title)

And French should call to mind Leblanc.
