my internets died

my modem got fried in a storm a couple weeks ago so i gotta go buy a new one tonight! so has this ever happend to you? what did you do with your lack of internet? I've been reading and playing STALKER. fun fun fun.:tongue:

My internet dies all the time, but I think it's something to do with my computer. It barely stays online long enough for me to sign into yahoo/myspace. So I beat the crap out of my keyboard :D

Hmm to entertain myself when there's no internet... I play in photoshop and play video games or watch TV. Or sleep. Sleep is good.

My power supply was once fried by a short. I'm only glad that it did what it was supposed to, and only ruined the power supply, rather than my hard drives and other components.

Now that I don't play WoW anymore, it doesn't matter all that much to me. If you were heavily involved in an MMO and lost the internet, though, I could see how you would be upset.

My internet (I should say the router) killed my internet a few weeks ago. It started to blink on and off and I had fits and and and and it was horrible. We got the router fixed though and all is well. :)

Sometimes I get panicky because I like leaving MSN on, even if I don't actually sit and use the net all day. But I usually read and watch movies and immerse myself :-)

I'll play videogames for a few hours, then sit back at my computer to check on EoFF, then remember my internet is gone, then watch some TV and get a snack, then go back to the computer, then cry a little, and repeat the cycle over and over.

Without the net I get severe withdrawl symptoms I bury myself in books and computer games and am never happy unless trying to read whilst play 2 consoles at once.

Lack of money forced me to be Internetless between May and July this year. I mainly spent Internet hours reading or replaying Advance Wars 2, as well as restarting FFIX and VII. Quite enjoyed the break, to be honest.
