I have seen it before and I was thinking of purchasing it.

But it's kinda expensive is it worth the money?

Came out from under that rock huh? :p

It's worth every penny. GH 1 & 2 are two of the best games of the past couple of years. The song list for GH3 doesn't look very good to me so far, but then there's always Rock Band.

I can't even do the first song on hard. But I love playing YYZ on medium by Rush- one of my favorite bands!

It's a great game. Well, GH II is. I haven't played much of the first one, but it did seem to be pretty awesome as well. (Just with a lot fewer songs.)

I've heard Rock the 80's is basically just GH II with the songs replaced with 80's music. :P

It's pretty good, not the best of music games, but it's cool enough for me.

I do not like Rock The 80's, the tracklist is sinfully short and lacks so many essiential 80's bands.

Otherwise, the first two Guitar Hero games are amazing and are worth the money.

I haven't played rock the 80's yet.
But I was thinking of maybe getting it.

I love Guitar Hero 2, it's great.

But unfortunately, unlike the emo/scene kids i know at the movies, I can only play Medium, not hard.
=D

I loveee it! I haven't played the first one, only the second one, and it's awesome. I think it's worth the money! :P

If crack cocaine is worth the money, so is Guitar Hero.

With my first paycheck I'm getting a Wii and with my second I'm getting Guitar Hero III (since it comes out about the time I'll get my second paycheck).

If you can get some of your friends around to play it the game pretty much pays for itself in fundollars.

I never understood the appeal of these rhythm games personally. *shrugs*

Really fun, you should get it. Number one and two are both fun, I can't really say how hard it is though because I'm not that good. I'm going on to hard mode though! :D

This is a very popular game, I haven't played it though. On Oct 28th or 29th Guitar Hero 3 will come out. Also, Rock Band will come out sometime in November. There are three other huge November console releases announced: Super Mario Galaxy(Nov 13th!), Call of Duty 4, and Mass Effect.

The game companies probably don't want to release SMG and RB on the same day, just as they probably don't want to release CoD4 and ME on the same day, considering those games are very popular and may appeal to partially a similar audience. They would wanna seperate SMG from RB and seperate CoD4 from ME.

Nov 6th and Nov 27th are "rest weekends" in November. Nov 5th there is not as much super huge games out because people are preparing for Nov 13th and Nov 20th, which are both big weekends. Nov 27th people are recovering from Nov 13th and Nov 20th and may not buy as much. I wonder if this is true.

Since Super Mario Galaxy is announced for Nov 13th, I think that Rock Band will come out on Nov 20th. As for Call of Duty 4 versus Mass Effect. Mass Effect may be the more popular game and may get the more popular Nov 20th spot and CoD4 may get on the Nov 13th spot.

Is there any other "super elite" console games coming out in November besides those four? I'm talking about best of the best, somewhere along the lines of Halo 3 and Bioshock and stuff.

Guitar Hero 3 comes out on Oct 28th or 29th. By the way Lost Odyssey will be out in October I think. The company Mistwalker says they were pushing for that month but they haven't announced more news or a release date, I don't know if it will be delayed. If it comes out I wonder if it would be Oct 2nd or Oct 16th or Oct 30th. It won't be Oct 9th or Oct 23rd because those are two "rest weeks" and are weaker". Lost Odyssey may be big enough to get a top weekend. I was thinking Oct 29th but I am not sure as much now because that is a crowded weekend. Oct 16th it'll be up against FF XII: W of the G and Grand Theft Auto IV. Oct 2nd it will be up against The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. What are your thoughts? :)

Guitar Hero will not teach you how to play the guitar but it sure will make you look like a fool in your living room. It is addictive and seriously fun!!!

My job let's me play games at work, and I always play the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero II. :P It's cool because there are a bunch of songs that aren't in the PS2 version, which I own at home.

It's really fun. ^_^ I played it only once before at a friend's house, and I only played on beginner and normal levels, but it's something to do~ I prefer DDR though, because you actually get exercise along with it.

its a shame about guitar hero I though, because the songs are amazing on that game, but the gameplay is tedious because hammer-ons and pull-offs are way too difficult for you to be able to master amazing solos like in Bark At The Moon and Symphony Of Destruction

Is it worth the money he says.

Yes. Yes. And because I can't stress it enough: Yes. I warn you though, you delve into Guitar Hero and before you know it you're gonna be throwing 200 bucks at Rock Band.

No, neither have I usually, but I've played Guitar Hero once or twice and quite enjoyed it. Quite a fun game when you've got a couple of people over for the evening.

I remember first playing this game and was like zomgg,I MUST have this game! lol
After buying Guitar Hero II and beating the hell outta that guitar for like a month or so,I've put it aside :/
I get bored easily,lol
Then again, games like those are made to be enjoyed amongst a crowd or so.
Fun with friends ^^.

Haven't played the first one (someone told me it had better songs) but the second is one of the most addicting games I've played.
