I was randomly inspired to attempt another spacescape today, so, here it is:

Yeah, there are several issues which I already know about (stupid same colour planet because I didn't bother to get new textures, the boom explosion didn't work out so well the first time so I had to improvise it and the shadow on the little blue planet is wank), but feel free to comment or ignore at your own leisure!

But yeah, after I was done it reminded me of Super Nova from FFVII, so there you go. I don't really have any reason for making a picture of a planet exploding into another one, it was just something I wanted to try.

It's gorgeous, but the little blue planet looks kind of out of place. Its still truly stunning though.

I think your stars are a little over-saturated, but it's a nice pic anyways :)

I like blue stars!

Also, a couple of the star brushes that I used on top of the star field I made have like, colour around them. Or at least, even though there's technically nothing there, the area around them also goes blue when messing with the colours. Which doesn't help much.

And also the stars went a bit ghetto when I rendered the two cloud effects needed to make the nebula, but I couldn't put them over the top of the cloud layers 'cause the stars are on the background. So yeah. Either way I'm not fussed, 'cause I like blue stars. :spin:

The explosion is very good, and the shadow on the blue planet wouldn't take long to fix. You did a good job on the background, all the stars look great.

Actually, it looks more like Meteor after being hit with the Rocket. But, what do I know?

Not in looks, just like, great big star thing just crashing through planets. :spin:

Thanks for the comments, everyone.
