Are there any items or ways of life that you've discovered in another country which you would bring back to your own?

What about things you wish would go back?

Personally I love little bottles of Honey teriyaki marinade sauce which you can only get in a chain of supermarkets in Florida. They make Barbecues so much more appealing in this cold Scottish weather.

However I can never understand Why American-made applications can't be pre-set to realise when they are being used in a different country. I'm tired of having my words highlighted in red for being spelled the British way.

From Italy? Man, it would be cool to take a break from work and school in the afternoon and nap, like Italians.

You realize this means you would be expected to stay awake later than 9pm, right?

Why would Americans want to propogate dumb spelling with redundant letters?

She has to stay up to watch the Matlock but can't keep her eyes propped open for the full episode. You'd be surprised how much knitting takes it out of you!

Giant robots, and the people in spandex suits that pilot them.

Man, those sticker booths in China. Not like the really crappy ones that you occasionally find in America... If I could bring a few of those things back and start my own business, I could make a living! ^_-

Strawberry juice. I drank it on holiday in Cyprus but I have never seen fresh strawberry juice sold in the UK. I've seen strawberry and banana smoothies, but it's just not the same. :jess:

I wish they'd bring back Dr.Pepper to Australia. I haven't seen it anywhere in Melbourne or Brisbane for years. I loved that drink.

I like the idea of london hotels having windows that open 8 stories above a street with a little porch you can climb out on and be 8 stories over strand st!

What.

and just so you know i just said zed not zee

Depends on the context. Example: World War Z. Ya gotta say 'Zee' there, or it sounds dumb. But conversely, there are situations where 'zed' sounds better.
