So, last night, I was in the living room with my family. My older sister, who had recently been to SONIC, was drinking from a SONIC cup. I stealthily crept up to her, snatched her cup, and took a HUGE sip. Whatever I was drinking tasted kinda like Sprite, but kinda sour and tangy. I took another sip, what is this? I took another, then decided it was too bizarre and foreign for a little ol' 13 year old like me. So I turned to her and asked:

"What is this? It tastes like a flat Sprite..."

She replies:

"...It's Smirnoff."

I gasped. Did I really just drink from an alcoholic beverage!? Yes, I had...

So, EoFF, how old were you when you had your first taste of alcohol?

Last night

(this is how old I am right now
<Katejina> Allie's age is 18 years, 7 months, 29 days, 8 hours, 1 minute and 5 seconds. )

Also, that story is horribly cute :)

Im not sure, my parents would often allow me to have a little sip of whatever they were drinking. Only like a bacardi breezer or a tiny bit of beer. So I can't really answer that accuratly.

The first time I was drunk though was when I was 14.

Five, or six years old. My brother had dared me to take a sip of my mom's alcoholic beverage that she left on the counter. So I did. I didn't like it though. I hate the taste of alcohol.

Dad tricked me into drinking crown and coke, and spit it in his face. I was like 8 or 9.

15. This was drinking behind my parents' back, mind. Sips I was allowed to do for a long while, but never any more (with them) but I can't remember from since when. It was probably wine. Disgusting.

A few years ago, not sure how many. My Aunt got me and her a drink each and I asked for Orangeade. She brought through what I thought were two orangeades so I just grabbed one. Turned out it was Orange Bacardi Breezer. It was yummy.

When I was little, my uncle would dab a little bit of beer on my finger, and I'd put my finger in my mouth and taste it. I had to be four or five then. I don't do it now.

I used to dip my dummy in my dad's Guinness when I was 3, apparently.

Think I was like 7, thought wine was grape juice.

I had a sip of my parents' wine and/or beer when I was little and it tasted gross. My first real drinking experience came at 15. I'm 26 now and it still tastes gross.

Haven't a clue. Probably around ten or so. I may well have had shandy years before that if we can count that, but first proper taste of a drink would've been about ten.

My cousin and I snuck some beer sips from my Uncle when we were lads around 9 or so. I thought it was gross and just drank pop instead. My first time truly drinking was much later at 18.

My parents let me have wips of Champagne or Wine or something when I was 6. I didn't like it.

For the most part.

Apparently I was two when I downed a glass of my Mum's vodka and orange. I would have been bouncing off the walls for about an hour then fell asleep. That's the story I've heard but I don't remember it.

When I was 13 I got drunk off straight gin. Don't know how I forced myself to drink that.

Like two years ago, but only little sips. My health teacher advised us not to drink at all. Ever. :eep:

When I was young I used to be allowed taking sips of my parent's drinks, or at least by accident I would. My dad drinks Pepsi and rum, so when I was too small to smell before I drank I used to take sips, thinking it was just pop. Rum is nasty. Besides that I would take occasional sips of beer. In the last summer I had about two glasses of wine (cheap bubbly white wine) and started to feel sick. Then at Christmas I had a glass of red. I do not mind red wine, as long as it is not too bitter. Besides that I only started actually drinking about a month or two ago. I drink mostly beer though I am beginning to start exploring other drinks as well.

I must've been eight years old, and it was definitely <i>church wine</i>!

Though I probably had a sip of beer or something earlier than that. I never started liking the taste of beer until recently.

When I was, like, eight maybe. xD My mom wanted to put me off wine and beer, so she let me try very little and I hated the taste of it right off the bat. I guess my mom's plan worked ... xD

I was like 8, I asked my mom why she always drank beer. That was when I found out it wasn't for the taste.

The first time I tasted anything alcoholic was the first night I got drunk. Jameson whiskey at the tender age of 13, & it tasted horrible.

My family makes homemade wine with the ghetto old machine, so when I was like four or five I tasted wine. I thought it was disgusting, but have since developed a taste for it.

Only like a bacardi breezer or a tiny bit of beer.

God I feel bad for you. Beer is probably my least favorite drink ever. And bacardi breezer (especially the orange flavored one) tastes like it was made from anus.

I really don't know. As a kid I would sometimes ask if I could taste a zip of beer or wine, y'know.. just to see what all of the fuss was about. I didn't like it at the time, but that was basically the first time I tasted alcohol. I can't remember how old I was, but probably 8 or something when I first tried it.
