Hogwarts: A History

So, I am not sure if this goes here or General Chat, but I had the idea of Rowling writing a copy of Hogwarts: A History. I know she wrote the two small books, Quidditch through the ages and Fantastic Beasts, but I believe that would be something really cool for her to write. Dont you guys think so? She could do so much with it. And personally, I would rather see her write that instead of an encyclopedia, even though I am anxiously awaiting for her to begin writing even though it won't be anytime soon.

I'm not sure I would want the full book of just the school's history. It would be fun to be read and my extreme fanboy would force me to read it lest it beat me with a cane, but I'd feel like I was reading a history book. And I don't read history books for fun D:

I really quite enjoyed Quitdditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, so I think Hogwarts: A History would be an absolute joy to read too. I think this especially given how vivid and fantastical an image we've been given of Hogwarts over the 7 books. An encyclopaedia would be interesting to read all the same though.

Well, they never have to me either, but for some reason this one would. I liked the Quidditch through the ages and Fantastic Beasts and they were fun to read and like Tsukasa said, I would LOVE to know more about house ghosts and such.

I liked the Lord of the Rings, but I couldn't get into the Silmarillion. A Harry Potter encyclopedia might work... but I dunno...
