I'm at this part where you can face 4 different bosses, I don't remember their names right now, but I think it was in the Earthgift shrine? Anywasy, what am I supposed to do here? Do I kill them all?

Not necessarily. You just pick one and fight. They all drop a rare item.

As you can only fight one boss per time through the cave, you have to fight through the cave multiple times to beat all of the bosses to get them all in your beastiary. Also, you can defeat the same boss multiple times if you want to get their rare drops multiple times.
