Hello me, its me again

How often do you talk to yourself? How often do you answer yourself?

I talk to myself all the time. Whats worse is, that I interject a conversation that I'm having out in the real world and it has become so common that my friends aren't shocked and confused by it so much.

More than I talk to anyone else. There is a near-constant stream of conversation going on in my head and when I am not surrounded by a lot of people, I will start mumbling to myself. I probably look crazy while I walk around making motions with my hands while moving my lips.

I do the same, although for some reason my facial expressions begin to change, so people begin to think I'm going through something medical......
...also have the habit sometimes of mouthing certain words.

I think it was Sartre who said (generally) that we externalise even ourselves, so that 'I' become an observer of 'myself'. I'm not sure what that means in terms of what 'we' are (if every time we imagine ourselves or each other it's an external concept), but it makes me feel less insane when 'I' talk to 'myself'.

ALL THE TIME. But I'm not crazy. Man, I talk to myself more than I talk to other people sometimes. Okay. No, not really. But sometimes I just sit on my bed and talk to my walls and sometimes I get so angry I have to fight with myself and I kick myself to the ground.
