I was there when user notes began man, and we set about carving a great empire. Those were the days.

I was like "we have usernotes?"

Sapphirestar wrote me a bad one, but before I even knew what they were she edited it. She liked me. :)

I always think it's nice to get one. I don't go into a sugar coma over it or anything, but it makes me smile on the inside. And the inside counts.

I was wondering what they were actually used for, like, if they had any purpose at all. And then I also wondered why I couldn't post in anyone else's but mine. xD

Where's the "other" option? I first thought "wow, these are public," when I saw them.

I think they've kinda taken away from PMs in a bit, but also have helped reduce spam. Then again, people still use PMs quite a bit for private requests and such.

I use the PM service all the time! If I had a usernote for every pm I'd have like... 7000 more then I have right now xD

I never use PMs anymore, but then again I don't user note much either. It was an after my time kinda thing. I can't remember what year they added the user notes, but I was here for a couple years before then.

I was kind of like, 'Where the heck did these come from!?' Then I had a look to see if anyone else had them and noticed their rather large numbers. This made me think that no one here must have a life. Then, low and behold, I fell to the might of the usernote and now, I too have no life

Hail usernotes, they be your masters forever more

It took me around three years to actually realize that they exist - and it was a pleasant surprise :)

The first option, but I discovered them pretty much after my first 6 months, and it wasn't like I had a lot anyway.

"About time. I would have though I'm far more popular than this"

I actually just went over 100 poasts in my usernotes. Oh well.
